48-Hour Notice: Municipality Removing Vehicles in Block 422
Authorities have removed abandoned vehicles in Daih, Block 422, as part of an ongoing effort to maintain cleanliness and ensure public safety. The initiative aligns with Law No. 10 of 2019 on Public Cleanliness, which prohibits vehicle owners from leaving abandoned cars, scrap materials, and junk in streets, sidewalks, public spaces, or beaches.
According to the law, municipal authorities must issue a warning to vehicle owners, giving them 48 hours to remove the abandoned items. This warning is marked on the vehicle, indicating the start of the notice period. If the owner fails to comply, the vehicle is relocated to a designated area in coordination with relevant authorities.
The municipality urges residents to cooperate in keeping public spaces clean and free from abandoned vehicles to ensure a safe and organized environment.
