Pueblo Police seeking info on car spotted near scene of 2022 homicide
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is looking for information on a car and person spotted in the area of a 2022 homicide on the south side of Pueblo.
According to PPD, 23-year-old Daniel Howard was shot and killed in an apartment complex parking lot on Feb. 4, 2022 near Lake Minnequa. On the day of the crime, officers were initially informed shortly before midnight that a shooting victim was being taken to the hospital. Despite medical attention, Howard was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officers determined that the shooting had occurred in the parking lot of the Pueblo Village Apartments on Alma Avenue.
On Feb. 6, 2024, PPD posted photos on X (formerly Twitter) of a possible vehicle and person that were allegedly in the area of the homicide in 2022. PPD said this person may have witnessed something that could be pertinent to the investigation.
