‘Puneet Superstar Ki Behan....Risking Lives': Woman Tries Bollywood Rain Scene On Flooded Road

Last Updated: Despite the pouring rain and waterlogged road, the woman decides it is the perfect time for a Bollywood-style photoshoot. Looks like Puneet Superstar has finally found his true competitor. We all remember how Puneet took the internet by storm with his wild and outrageous videos. From drinking urine to jumping into muddy puddles on the roadside, he became a social media icon for doing the most unexpected things. But now, someone else is grabbing the spotlight and this time, it is a woman. A video of her has surfaced online and people can't stop talking about it. She is being called 'Puneet's sister" and when you see the clip, you will know why. In a series of videos, shared on Instagram, the woman is seen in the middle of a flooded street. She is wearing a light green dress along with a matching headpiece. Despite the pouring rain and waterlogged road, she decides it is the perfect time for a Bollywood-style photoshoot. One of the videos starts with her walking down the road like a model. She smiles and poses for the camera. But it doesn't stop there. In the next scene, she begins twirling around. Then suddenly, she slips and falls right into the water. Nope, she is still not done. Instead of getting up, she stays right there in the water and continues her photoshoot. She even starts splashing the water with her hands to create more dramatic effects for the shoot (amazing commitment, right?). Meanwhile, passersby can be seen in the background who are completely stunned by what they are witnessing. But she doesn't care. She stays focused on her moment. Well, she definitely deserves a 10/10 for her confidence. The video was shared over a week ago and since then, it has pulled in more than twenty million views. The comment section is just as entertaining as the video itself. One user commented, 'Puneet superstar ki behan (She's Puneet Superstar's sister)." Another added, 'Puneet superstar laughing in the corner." Someone called her 'Barish ki pari (Rain fairy)," while a person, clearly baffled, said, 'Just one question, why??" One user defended her with, 'Why people hating? Girlypop just wants to have some fun." Her other clips from the same so-called rain photoshoot have also gained significant attention. Just like the first one, these videos have also managed to rack up over million views. First Published:

Family Of 7 That Died By Suicide In Car Left These Final Words: 'Our Relatives Are Rich, But...'

Last Updated: Praveen told Puneet he was deep in debt and would die within five minutes. He also expressed sadness that his wealthy relatives had refused to offer him any help In a major development in the case of seven members of a family who died by suicide in Haryana's Panchkula, a disturbing video has surfaced showing one of the victims, moments before losing consciousness after allegedly consuming poison. In the video, the man, identified as Praveen Mittal, is seen sitting near a ramp with his head slumped forward, showing clear signs of distress. His neck appears slightly bent, suggesting the effects of poisoning as he seems to be on the verge of losing consciousness. The family, originally from Barwala and currently residing in Dehradun, had parked their car in front of a house in Sector 27 of Panchkula. A passer-by, Puneet Rana, noticed white towels hung on the car's windows and approached the family. When Puneet questioned Praveen, he reportedly explained that they had come to Panchkula to listen to a Katha and were searching for a hotel. Failing to find one, they decided to sleep in their car. 'When we opened one of the doors of the car, we saw people lying inside the vehicle. The person on the driving seat was alive and told us that his family did not find a hotel and were returning from an event, so they all slept in the car," the local told reporters. 'I asked him to park his car somewhere in the market area, and he started to turn the engine on. That's when I saw that all members of his family had vomited on each other," he said. Puneet noted that the car had only been parked for 10 to 15 minutes and found a medicine strip inside the vehicle. Puneet said that the child, along with the grandfather and uncle, were seated in the front. 'Sensing something fishy, I asked the man to step out of the car, and he sat on a ramp at the roadside. He told me his family was drowning in debt and that he, too, would be dead in the next five minutes. He collapsed moments later," the local said. 'None of those in the car responded when I tried to talk to them, they were all dead. The police reached the spot in two minutes. However, the ambulance arrived only 45 minutes later," he said. Praveen reportedly confided to Puneet that he was heavily in debt and predicted he would die within five minutes. Puneet added that Praveen expressed sorrow over his wealthy relatives' refusal to help him. When the police arrived, they discovered a married couple in their 40s, three children, and two elderly people dead inside a car. Puneet mentioned he detected a strong odor coming from the car and tried to rouse the occupants, but only one person showed any signs of life. Panchkula Deputy Commissioner of Police Himadri Kaushik said, 'Our forensic team has reached the spot. We are analysing the details and are scanning the car thoroughly." 'Some facts that have emerged primarily indicate that this is a matter of suicide," the DSP said. A suicide note found in their vehicle revealed that financial troubles were the cause of their tragic decision. Praveen Mittal has been identified as one of the deceased, alongside his three children who were all under 14 years old, his wife, and his parents. According to Additional Commissioner of Police Vikram Nehra, all seven were discovered inside the same car, with a towel covering the rear windshield. When they were brought to a nearby hospital in Panchkula, only Praveen Mittal was still alive but he passed away during treatment. The police are continuing their investigation, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations. Praveen Mittal, who was originally from Barwala in Panchkula, resided in Dehradun where he managed a tour and travel business. It is believed that severe financial losses may have driven him to take this extreme step along with his family. Meet actor who left Amitabh Bachchan clinically dead, lost 10 films, went out of work for 6 years: ‘People were afraid'

Bollywood has witnessed the dramatic rise and fall of many actors, including those who once shared screens with A-listers but saw their fortunes fade after a single incident. One such actor once had a tragic on-set accident, leaving Amitabh Bachchan fighting for his life in a hospital. The incident not only shook the fans across the nation but also greatly impacted the actor's career. The actor is Puneet Issar. Son of filmmaker Sudesh Issar, Puneet was a trained artist and also an 8th-degree black belt holder. He made his debut in Bollywood as a villain in Manmohan Desai's 1983 film Coolie. In one of the intense action scenes, Puneet was to throw a staged punch at Amitabh Bachchan, but the scene went terribly wrong when Bachchan mistimed a jump. He landed hard on a table corner, causing an abdominal wound. Although it seemed like a minor mishap, later it turned serious and was rushed to the hospital where he eventually underwent a life-saving emergency surgery. Talking about the incident on the sets of Coolie, Amitabh Bachchan once shared on his blog: 'I went into almost a haze and a coma-like situation. Within five days of coming into Breach Candy, I had another surgery and didn't come out of that one for a very, very long time and I was clinically dead for a couple of minutes. Then Dr Wadia, who looked after me and is an absolute life-saver, just said 'I'm going to take a last chance' and he started pumping cortisone/adrenaline injections into me one after another almost, 40 ampules of it, with the hope that something would happen and then I got revived.' Meanwhile, Puneet told Digital Commentary how the incident seriously impacted his career. He said, "People were quite scared of me after that incident. They said he is 8th degree black belt holder. People created theories and assumptions. They said, 'Agar itna halka punch bruised Amitabh Bachchan so badly then….(what if he uses all his potential).' 'That was maybe my churning period. It made me a better actor and human being," added Puneet who said he was had now work for six years after the incident. He also said, 'Irrespective of the phase, people learn a lot. I learnt to be patient and humble. One second changed my life from a 21-year-old who was signed as the main villain against Amitabh Bachchan, had 10 films in his kitty to someone who suddenly lost all his films. People suddenly forgot that I was a Gold Medalist from the Actors' Studio and a trained artist. I was a professor of language and diction. All this vanished, I suddenly became a 'fighter'. From then, I only received such roles, and to make ends meet, I had to take that up. I was married after all." While Puneet did not work with Amitabh Bachchan again after the Coolie accident, he was a part of Bachchan's son Abhishek Bachchan's debut film, Refugee. Puneet is best known for his role as Duryodhana in B. R. Chopra's TV show Mahabharat. He went on to work in hit films like Chandra Mukhi (1993), Prem Shakti (1994), Ram Jaane (1995), Border (1997), Refugee (2000), Krrish (2006), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Ready (2011), Son of Sardaar (2012) and The Kashmir Files (2022). He also made his directorial debut with Salman Khan's cop drama Garv in 2004. He also was a part of Bigg Boss 8. During the show, Rekha appeared to promote her film, Super Nani. However, she reportedly ignored Puneet during her segment allegedly for the Coolie incident, claimed multiple reports. Puneet was last seen in YRF's Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The Save Rimjhim campaign

This is a story about an island that no one had visited or even heard of. It had a huge lake with waters as clear as the open skies. In it thrived all kinds of animals: fish of every colour, shape, size, and type, turtles, squids, alligators, crabs, lobsters, octopuses and more. What made the lake truly special was that all the creatures subsisted only on plants and weeds that grew under water. One day, a young man named Puneet landed there because the ship he was travelling in had been wrecked. He had managed to survive and reach the island. He roamed around, fascinated by the lake and the creatures in it. One day, an idea struck him and he waited patiently to be saved. Soon, he was spotted by a rescue team and brought home. Puneet's neighbour at home was Neeraj, a nine-year-old boy. A few days after Puneet's return, Neeraj heard his grandfather and Puneet's father talking. 'Puneet was shipwrecked on an island, which had a special lake,' said the latter, describing it. 'I have never heard of such diverse creatures living together in harmony,' exclaimed Neeraj's grandpa. 'Neither have I. But, sadly, there is a serious threat to the lake. Puneet wants to convert it into a centre for water sports such as kayaking, paddling, canoeing, snorkelling and other activities and build camping sites around the lake. People will come from all over, stay there, and participate in the activities. It will become a major tourist attraction and he will get rich in no time.' 'But what about the creatures who have made the lake their home?' asked Neeraj's grandfather. 'Puneet says he will simply dump them in the sea. He wants the lake to be used only for water sports.' 'But the animals who have thrived in the pristine waters of the lake will not survive in a new environment. They will die in no time.' 'I know. His mother and I tried to convince him but he won't listen. He has always been a greedy fellow and becoming rich matters more to him than anything else.' 'But will he be able to carry out his plan on his own?' 'Since his return, Puneet has been talking to several companies. Two big organisations have agreed to sponsor his project. Now, there is no stopping him. I really don't know what to do,' his father replied sadly. Neeraj sat in shock. His thoughts kept going back to the animals in the lake. There was no way they could survive in the unknown and unfriendly waters of the sea. Then he had an idea. One person could save the animals: his best friend Razia's sister Noor, who was a wildlife photographer. So, Neeraj rushed over the Razia's house. Luckily Noor was at home. He quickly told her the entire story and waited to see her reaction. Noor thought for a while and, snapped her fingers. 'I've got it. I'm going to use social media to save the poor creatures.' Razia and Neeraj looked at each other. 'I didn't get it,' Razia said, and Neeraj too shook his head. 'You know, I have more than 125k followers on Instagram. Besides, I have a strong presence on Facebook as well. I am also a part of several groups on WhatsApp. I am going to post about Puneet and his evil intentions right away. I shall request my followers to spread the word. I am sure the posts will soon go viral on social media . The movement to save our lake, which I am going to name Rimjhim, will pick up.' 'But, didi, will that stop Puneet?' 'It will generate a lot of negative publicity, which I am confident Puneet's sponsors would like to avoid. I am sure they will shelve the project.' Razia was not so sure but Neeraj loved the idea. He high-fived Noor and ran home to share the good news with his grandpa. Noor put her plan into action. She created a little animated video about the unique lake and wrote about how some avaricious people were planning to destroy it and how it needed to be saved. As she had predicted, the Save Rimjhim campaign went viral and Puneet's sponsors backed out. 'Noor, even though Puneet's evil design has fallen flat, do you think the danger is over? For all we know, he might renew his project after sometime,' Neeraj's grandpa said during a party he hosted for Puneet's parents, the children, and Noor. 'He dare not, grandpa. As long as our little army of two-and-a-half generations is around, Puneet and his kind will never succeed,' Noor replied, as everyone clapped and cheered.

Ravan was not just a villain, says Puneet Issar on his role in Ishwar

Known for his iconic portrayals of mythological characters on stage and screen, actor Puneet Issar is once again set to don the crown of Lankadhipati Ravan—but this time, in an entirely new light. The veteran actor will headline the upcoming theatrical production Ishwar, written and directed by playwright Atul Satya Koushik , In a candid conversation with Bombay Times, Issar opens up about the play, his collaboration with the director, and why Ishwar is a deeply layered exploration of one of mythology's most misunderstood figures. 'Not Just the Antagonist' 'Ishwar is not your typical retelling of the Ramayana,' says the actor. 'It explores the human side of Ravan, his dilemmas, emotional battles, and psychological depth. The rage, the pain, the mind of an antagonist, it's all here, but seen through a humane lens. This Ravan is not just the villain; he's a man driven by belief, conflict, and emotion.' Puneet, who previously worked with Atul on Ravan Ki Ramayan in 2015, notes the stark contrast between the two productions. 'If Ravan Ki Ramayan was about Ravan justifying his actions through fiery monologues and confrontations, Ishwar is North Pole to that South Pole,' he explains. 'This play is far more introspective. It digs deep into Ravan's relationships with his wife, his sister, his son, even Sita, and the emotional nuances in each of those dynamics.' 'Atul Satya Koushik has an incredible ability to bring out the humanity in every character' Issar is full of praise for Atul Satya Koushik, whose writing he calls 'top class' and 'A-grade.' 'He has an incredible ability to bring out the humanity in every character, especially the women,' says Puneet. 'In Ishwar, female characters are central—whether it's Ravan's wife Mandodari, his sister Shurpanakha, or his daughter-in-law. The king-queen, father-son, and husband-wife dynamics are etched out with such detail.' He continues, 'Every character in this play has a beginning, middle, and end. Nothing is there just for the sake of it. The dialogue, the structure—everything has been written with intention. That's what makes this play stand out.' 'This one's special' Reflecting on his nearly decade-long gap since Ravan Ki Ramayan, Puneet notes how much has changed. 'It's been 10 years, and we've all grown—personally and creatively. Working with Atul again feels like picking up an evolved conversation, and this time, it's deeper, more philosophical.' As audiences prepare to witness this multi-dimensional portrayal of Ravan, Puneet leaves them with a thought: 'Villains are often the most emotionally complex characters. And sometimes, understanding them brings us closer to understanding ourselves.' The cast includes well-known names like Dipannita Sharma, Himanshu Soni, and Amit Pachori, alongside Puneet Issar. The play is described as a bold reimagining of the Ramayana, examining Ravan's ambition, personal dharma, and moral ambiguity.
