Culture Ministry, Qiddiya Investment Company Sign MoU to Promote Saudi Culture in Qiddiya City
The Saudi Ministry of Culture signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qiddiya Investment Company to collaborate on a number of cultural projects within Qiddiya City and to develop an enriching cultural experience for tourists and visitors that reflects the depth of Saudi heritage. The MoU was signed by Vice Minister of Culture Hamed Fayez and Qiddiya Investment Company Managing Director Abdullah Aldawood in Riyadh. The agreement outlines cooperation in several areas, most notably coordination on cultural assets and projects planned for Qiddiya City through early alignment and planning, as well as coordination across all stages of development and implementation. This includes joint efforts to develop cultural infrastructure across various locations in the city, such as heritage and cultural sites, museums, and culinary exhibitions. The MoU reflects the shared commitment of the Ministry of Culture and Qiddiya Investment Company to highlighting the cultural dimension, reinforcing national identity, and delivering a rich cultural experience aligned with the Kingdom's aspirations and future vision.

Saudi Motorsport Company, the promoter of the Formula 1® stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025, has announced a strategic partnership with Qiddiya Investment Company, one of the flagship initiatives of the Public Investment Fund. Under this agreement, Qiddiya becomes a Founding Partner of the 2025 edition of the Formula 1® stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, SPA reported. This collaboration builds on Qiddiya Investment Company's strong relationship with the Grand Prix and underscores its unwavering commitment to championing Saudi Arabia's cultural identity on the global stage. F1: Mercedes-AMG Announces First-Ever Performance Centre In Saudi Arabia
Mercedes-AMG, in partnership with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, will establish a performance centre in Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya City, marking the first facility of its kind for the brand. The Mercedes AMG World of Performance will span 45,000 square metres across nine floors, with completion expected within this decade. The centre will be situated along the start-finish straight of the Speed Park Track, a new racing circuit planned for the city. The facility will include a dark ride showcasing Mercedes Benz race cars, more than 60 simulators, a 4D Motion Simulator Theatre, and experiences that replicate Formula One racing conditions. Visitors will have access to track experiences with Mercedes-AMG vehicles under professional instruction. Abdullah Aldawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company said: 'To partner with one of the world's most iconic brands, including one of the most successful Formula 1 teams in history, on a project that will bring joy to racing fans across the world is hugely exciting. This unique performance and motorsports centre will offer immersive experiences like nowhere else in the world, positioning Qiddiya City as the home of Saudi motorsport and a bucket list sporting destination where play comes to life.' The project receives support from Juffali Automotive Company (JACO), Mercedes Benz's passenger car distributor in Saudi Arabia. The centre will feature a VIP rooftop lounge overlooking the track and the Tuwaiq Mountains. The World of Performance will sit alongside Qiddiya City's Speed Park Track, which will host the racing events. The centre will feature more than 60 latest simulators alongside a motion 4D simulator theatre. The experience centre will have a roof-top VIP lounge overlooking the Speed Park Track. The city's motorsports offering, including the Speed Park Track and other attractions, is set to be unveiled over the next 12 months.
