That person bought the winning ticket at Publix, 7525 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. A Georgia lottery player in Savannah stuck gold Monday by winning a staggering $1,297,317 in the Fantasy 5 drawing. The winning ticket, purchased at the Abercorn BP gas station, was not said by the Georgia Lottery to be claimed yet. The winning numbers in the drawing were 03-04-26-29-34. According to the press release, a Norcross player took home $50,000 in the Powerball, while another lucky Georgia winner in Roswell doubled their winnings to $100,000 with a Power Play option. Additionally, an Atlanta resident scored $76,489 with the Quick Win app, and a Locust Grove player celebrated a $10,000 Mega Millions win. Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Fantasy 5, Powerball, Quick Win, and Mega Millions benefit education in the state of Georgia. Lottery player wins life-changing prize at Georgia Publix. Where was lucky ticket sold?
A stop at Publix netted a lottery player a huge jackpot prize in Georgia. The lucky player won $150,000 playing Fantasy 5 after matching five winning numbers in the drawing Saturday, Jan. 25, according to the Georgia Lottery. They purchased the ticket at a Publix supermarket on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, beating odds of 1 in 850,668 to win the top prize, officials said. The winning numbers Saturday were 03-08-11-33-41, results show. It was just one of two recent six-figure lottery wins for the Peach State. A Quick Win game sold in Johns Creek won a $163,145 jackpot on Jan. 26, the Georgia Lottery said. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, according to the lottery's website.
