Stanislav Yanevski gives health update from hospital bed after undergoing surgery due to 'inability to breathe'
Harry Potter star Stanislav Yanevski has been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after struggling with breathing problems. The 40-year-old actor, who played Quidditch player Viktor Krum in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, shared a snap from his hospital bed on Instagram, with a bandage wrapped around his nose. He said: 'Hello lovely ladies and gentlemen. Time has finally come to reveal the news but first things first. THANK YOU all for the lovely birthday wishes! I appreciate every post, every message and I promise you I've felt very special and supported on this very important day in my life.' He went on: 'Now about the photo - soon after my birthday I was hospitalized due to inability to breathe. I was taken into surgery and the photo was taken right after I had come out of the surgical room. As always and those who know me closer, I went through this in silence as I didn't want to scare or worry anybody. I've always been this way. I fight through struggles in quiet. 'Of course I had support from the few I had told and my family for which I'm very thankful. I am still recovering and things are looking great. I will be able to breathe freely, experience all scents of life, which was something I had lost over the past months. 'I will be able to sleep without struggles, recover properly with peaceful sleep and be at my full powers very soon. I still have a few pieces planted in my nose, so I'm not able to talk freely. 'I had a checkup with my doctor today and he said that I'm recovering really well and was actually quite surprised with my progress. I guess all the healthy diets, training and self control and belief help in such cases 'Thank you all for all the love and support as always! Much love from me to you all and have a wonderful and majestic weekend ahead. Yours truly.' Concerned fans sent the actor their best wishes, with one person writing: 'Damn man! Take care of you, get well soon. You're a warrior man'. Another said: 'Get well soon my brother sending a speedy recovery and love. 'Have a good recovery, take care,' a third chimed in. Health update: The actor explained what happened in a thorough post on Instagram It has been almost two decades since his first appearance in the beloved wizarding series and sine then, he has starred in many hits such as Hostel: Part II and The Cloaking. But his last role was in the 2021 movie Last Man Down, as earlier this year, the actor stunned his fans with an unexpected career change. Coleen Rooney enjoys Harry Potter tour with Wayne and son Kit after Wagatha drama
Coleen Rooney took her husband, Wayne, and son, Kit, for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Harry Potter on Tuesday following the conclusion of the six-year Wagatha Christie row Coleen Rooney looked like she'd finally put the Wagatha Christie drama behind her when she rocked up for the Harry Potter tour on Tuesday. The mum-of-four, 39, was all smiles at the behind-the-scenes treat, which takes place at the Warner Brothers Studio in Hertfordshire. Sharing a snap of herself, husband, Wayne, 39, and son, Kit, nine, who looked fabulous sporting Harry's iconic Hogwarts cloak and tie, the I'm A Celebrity star told her followers she'd had a "fabulous" time. Captioning the snaps, in which the proud mum puts her arms around her son, she wrote: "What a fantastic day @wbtourlondon… Thank you so much for looking after us, everything was amazing." The Rooneys were able to explore the sets from the famous Harry Potter franchise, including the Great Hall, Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley during the tour. They could also jump aboard the Hogwarts Express as well as seeing a selection of props from the films and take a peak at the iconic costumes, including the Quidditch uniforms and Yule Ball gowns. The family outing comes as Coleen can finally put the Wagatha Christie trial behind her after her arch nemesis Rebekah Vardy was ordered to pay almost £1.2 million of the WAG's legal costs following their high-profile trial. The wife of Leicester City star, Jamie, had attempted to sue Coleen following her now infamous social media post in 2019. Coleen, the wife of Man Utd star, Wayne, took to social media to reveal that she had secretly cooking up a sting operation after a slew of stories shared on her private social media had been leaked to the media. The savvy Scouser narrowed down accounts with access to her posts in order to discover which account was leaking the information. In 2019, she took to social media to reveal: "It was..... Rebekah Vardy's account," after blocking her followers from seeing her Instagram Stories, which included a fake story that she was heading to Mexico for gender selection, as well as setting her sights on a stint on Strictly Come Dancing. Rebekah, 43, has strongly denied the allegations and implied that her Instagram account had been hacked. However, she lost her subsequent defamation case against Coleen and has now been ordered to pay almost £1.2million. A specialist costs court has previously been told that Coleen ran up a legal bill totalling more than £1.8 million after she successfully defended Rebekah's High Court claim in 2022. In written submissions for a hearing on Tuesday, Mrs Vardy's barrister, Juliet Wells, said that Mrs Rooney's total legal bill of £1,833,906.89 "has now been settled at £1,190,000, being c.£1,125,000 plus interest of c.£65.000". Ms Wells continued that Mrs Rooney is now claiming "assessment costs" of more than £300,000, which she described as "grossly disproportionate" and should be capped at "no more than £100,000". The full amount of the assessment costs will be determined at the hearing before Costs Judge Mark Whalan, who said he was "pleased" that the two sides had come to a "commercial accommodation". Neither Rebekah nor Coleen attended the remote hearing.

A Clinical Psychologist Is Begging Parents and Grandparents To Find the ‘Golden Snitch' Around Kids
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. When most people hear "Golden Snitch," they likely immediately think about the small ball used in Quidditch, the fictional sport from Harry Potter. During these games, the "Seeker" from each team is trying to locate and catch the Snitch while the rest of the players attempt to score and block goals. It's a chaotic and lively setting in the books and movies—much like a household with young kids. It's fitting, then, that Stanford professor and Duke-trained psychologist Dr. Caroline Fleck, author of Validation: How the Skill Set That Revolutionized Psychology Will Transform Your Relationships, Increase Your Influence, and Change Your Life, swears by a certain parenting tool that involves moms and dads seeking their own "Golden Snitch" around their kids. Related: 11 Scientifically-Proven Strategies for Raising Happy Kids and Grandkids, According to a Child Psychologist The 'Golden Snitch' Parenting Tool, According to a Clinical Psychologist "The 'Golden Snitch' refers to an effective response in a child that would otherwise get overshadowed by more problematic behavior," Dr. Fleck explains. While she talks more about this concept in Validation, she gives Parade an idea of what this looks like. Related: Child Psychologists Are Begging Parents and Grandparents To Start Using This One Confidence-Boosting Phrase "I give the example of my daughter, who agreed that the sugary morning snack her school provided was ruining her appetite for lunch," Dr. Fleck shares. "We said that if she ate the school's 'snack' in the morning, she couldn't have dessert after dinner. I was sure this contingency would work—my kid lives for post-dinner dessert—but it didn't. She kept eating the snack at school, not eating her lunch, and coming home ravenous and unruly. I was frustrated with her for not listening to us, disappointed with the school for providing Oreo cookie muffins and calling them 'snacks,' and frustrated with myself for failing to turn things around. With all of this negativity flying around, I would have stood no chance of finding the Golden Snitch in this situation if I hadn't been in the habit of actively seeking it." Wait—what was it, then? "The Golden Snitch—the effective response I would have missed—was her honesty," Dr. Fleck explains. "She could have easily lied about eating the snack so she wouldn't miss out on dessert, but she didn't. This was particularly impressive because she'd recently started experimenting with lying. We'd caught her in a couple of lies and talked to her about the importance of honesty, but it wouldn't have surprised me if she saw an opportunity to use the magical power of lying to secure her dessert after dinner. But she didn't. She had the opportunity to lie, and she didn't take it." Related: A Clinical Psychologist Is Begging Parents and Grandparents To Stop Making This Punishment Mistake By finding something positive to focus on and call out, your child or grandchild has the opportunity to feel seen and understood more deeply—helping instill self-confidence instead of shame. "Positively reinforcing her honesty at this moment by validating it—'I realize you had the opportunity to lie and didn't take it; I'm proud of you,'—is the most effective way to ensure she takes the path of honesty next time she's in a similar fork in the road," Dr. Fleck continues. "The lesson here is that whenever a kid is struggling to make progress in one domain (e.g., skipping the morning snack), look to see if there's progress in another (e.g., honesty). Kids do not develop when and where we expect them to. Ask yourself, 'If I had to reinforce something, what would it be?'" University of Cambridge quadball team hoping to build momentum
The president of a Quadball club says although there is a lot of curiosity around the game, recruitment can be based on Quidditch, made famous by the Harry Potter books, it is believed to be one of only a few mixed-gender, full-contact sports in the Brilliant, a first year Astrophysics PHD student at Cambridge University, hopes to encourage people to try Brilliant said it was "crowded" competing for recruits with other societies, but he was hopeful the club could build "momentum". It has been nearly 20 years since Quidditch moved from the pages of Harry Potter to real-life playing which had to rename itself from Quidditch, is played by nearly 600 teams in 40 countriesPlayers aim to beat the opposite team by scoring volleyballs, defending with tackles and dodgeballs or catching a club has been running for about 10 years, apart from a break during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a team, as a group, you can move up together and that's honestly I think a fantastic team dynamic to have." Perhaps the best-known element of the game is the golden snitch, famously very nearly swallowed by Harry Potter during his first-ever Quidditch instead of a winged, walnut-sized ball, real-life seekers chase a flag runner dressed in yellow, who has a sock with a tennis ball in attached to their Brilliant plays as a beater who disrupts play by throwing dodgeballs at opposing hit they must dismount their broom and run back to their own hoops to tag back in.A Quadball university league in the UK is run by Quadball UK, and hosts tournaments between a former member of the club in Oxford, Mr Brilliant said recruitment for the sport in Cambridge had started slightly slower."It's definitely a little tough," he said."It's a crowded space.
