Award-winning actor Gary Sinise on helping veterans with Gary Sinise Foundation
The WGN Morning News team spoke to award-winning actor Gary Sinise on Tuesday.
Sinise has become known for his advocacy for veterans and military members. He is deeply involved with military families through his foundation, the Gary Sinise Foundation.
The foundation supports military and first responder families through various programs, including the Snowball Express, a healing retreat for children and surviving spouses/guardians of fallen heroes, and the R.I.S.E. program, which builds specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans and first responders.
