Orlando Pirates get slapped with R15 million asking price!

Orlando Pirates are heavily linked with Zimbabwean teenager Prince Ndlovu and have been informed by Highlanders FC that they will need to cough up R15 million to acquire his services. 'Highlanders FC value Prince (Ndlovu) and that's why they are pricing him at around R15million,' a source revealed. 'For now this price is believed to be directed at South African team Orlando Pirates because apparently they are the ones who have enquired about his services. Highlanders believe it's a fair price looking at his talent, quality and future ahead of him.' Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates target Rowan Human has rejected AmaZulu's contract extension, making him a free agent from July 1. 'AmaZulu FC midfielder Rowan Human has been offered to Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs by his representatives as he is set to leave the club on a free transfer. Human will leave Usuthu at the end of June after his contract expires after the 24-year-old failed to reach an agreement with the club on a new contract,' a source revealed. 'Human has been offered to both Soweto giants by his representatives and it could only be a matter of time before he gets snapped up as he will be a free agent and rediscovered his old form.' Baroka FC's chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has confirmed that defender Tshepho Mashiloane has signed with Orlando Pirates. 'We still got to pay Mashiloane until the end of June, but Orlando Pirates have purchased Mashiloane for the coming season, not this season,' Mphahlele informed iDiski Times . 'But if Pirates want Mashiloane earlier there's no problem we've got an agreement with Pirates. We can always make provision for that, but we are going to pay Mashiloane at the end of June because his contract ends at the end of June and the Pirates contract begins on the first of July. 'From the first of July he is an Orlando Pirates player, until then he's still our player and we pay him.' Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1. Pirates news: R15 million, free agent opportunity, captain saga

Orlando Pirates are on the verge of adding several stars to their already talented squad, boasting playmakers from Relebohile Mofokeng to Patrick Maswanganyi. According to reports, the Soweto giants will need to pay R15 million for teenage target Prince Ndlovu. 'Highlanders FC value Prince (Ndlovu) and that's why they are pricing him at around R15million,' a source revealed. Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates are left without a captain following the release of Innocent Maela – highly-rated defender Nkosinathi Sibisi is among the favourites to get the armband. AmaZulu playmaker Rowan Human has informed his club that he will not be signing a contract extension, making him a free agent in the offseason window and opening the door for Pirates, who were reportedly interested in the 24-year-old back in January. Orlando Pirates told to pay R15M for talented African teenager!

Orlando Pirates are set to announce a number of new signings soon as the transfer window opens for next season. Pirates are rumoured to have been busy with boosting their squad ahead of another busy campaign in 2025/26. One of the positions that Pirates seem keen to revamp ahead of the new campaign, is their midfield. According to reports, the Buccaneers have transfer agreements in place to sign Sihle Nduli and Sinoxolo Kwayiba. Nduli would be arriving from Stellenbosch FC as a free agent, while Kwayiba is set to join from Chippa United. But that won't be all as this publication reported last week that they're back interested in Prince Ndlovu. The teenage Zimbabwean prodigy was on trial with the Pirates two-years ago but was primed for a move abroad instead. But after that did not materialise, he stayed at Highlanders FC who have quoted the Buccaneers R15m for his services! 'Highlanders FC value Prince (Ndlovu) and that's why they are pricing him at around R15million. For now this price is believed to be directed at South African team Orlando Pirates because apparently they are the ones who have enquired about his services. Highlanders believe it's a fair price looking at his talent, quality and future ahead of him,' said a source to Soccer-Laduma . Ndlovu was first introduced to South Africa and Pirates fans in March of 2023. That is when he came to train with the Sea Robbers after impressing their scouts with his progress in Zimbabwe. The player, still very young, has grown in leaps and bounds since then and is currently part of the Warriors' COSAFA Cup squad. Pirates already have two young wingers in Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota. Adding the exciting Ndlovu to the mix will increase their depth and strength for next season. Buccaneers will Ndlovu, would this be a good move for the club? Let us know by clicking on the comment tab. Or by emailing info@ or sending a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1.
