The house was built in 1992 by a design company, Machado Silvetti, that worked on multiple art projects around the country. The company worked on projects that helped expand the Getty Villa and the Denver Art Museum.
The property also has a private drive shared with another residence and a pond. In total, the property is around 13 acres.
One of the sellers of the property believes that the location of the house, combined with the large space, gives the mansion a sense of peace. Devin Singleton of Gibson Sotheby's International Realty listed the property for just under $6 million.
"It feels a little bit like you are in a snow globe, in a sense, because it's surrounded by windows on three sides, so you really have full exposure to the exterior, the amazing light, nature, the beauty of the pond," Singleton said in an interview.
Being the former mansion of Garnett, some may wonder how he spent his time at the property. Singleton said that Garnett spent a lot of time in the basement of the house with teammates, watching film to prepare for games.
"They're not the tallest ceilings, so every time I go down there it's funny to picture him," she said.
