Katherine Ryan has landed a huge part in the upcoming Real Housewives of London, and fans couldn't contain their excitement once the news was made public Comedian and TV star Katherine Ryan has landed a major new gig, and it's sending Real Housewives fans into a frenzy. The award-winning comic has been announced as the host of The Real Housewives of London reunion special by Hayu in an Instagram post. ‌ The streaming service shared a photo of Ryan confidently walking across a London crosswalk while surrounded by Buckingham Palace guards, with the caption: "It's time for us to answer the call for who is hosting the #RHOLDN say hello to Katherine Ryan." ‌ Ryan, 41, couldn't contain her excitement and called the new role a dream come true. In a statement, she said: " Pinch me and tell me this is real! As a mega-fan of The Real Housewives franchise – and of Hayu – I can't wait to get Juliet, Amanda, Karen, Juliet, Panthea and Nessie into the hot seats at the end of the season. "Hosting The Real Housewives of London reunion show is a dream opportunity for me – and I'm honoured to be trusted to represent the fans and to bring a female perspective to analysing all the emotions, arguments, twists and revelations!" Fans were quick to share their joy online, with RuPaul's Drag Race legend Bimini Bon Boulash leading the charge, gushing: "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR." Another fan declared: "This is iconic!!" A third chimed in with: "This is the best news I've heard all 2025!!!" and a fourth exclaimed: "Screaming!!!! This is everything and more!!!!" The Real Housewives of London is the latest international edition of the long-running US franchise, which is famous for capturing the drama that goes on behind the scenes in the lives of the wealthy and glamorous. ‌ The series is slated to premiere later this year on Hayu, and features six London-based socialites: Ladies of London alum Juliet Angus, model-turned-beauty-entrepreneur Amanda Cronin, Real Housewives of Jersey star Karen Loderick-Peace, philanthropist Juliet Mayhew, Iranian-born housewife Panthea Parker, and Bake Off: The Professionals contestant Nessie Welschinger. Filming kicked off in March, and producers have promised viewers heaps of drama, all set against the backdrop of one of the world 's most iconic cities. In an announcement made by Hayu in May, the streaming platform teased: "Whether hosting lavish dinners, escaping to a Scottish castle, or rebuilding bonds over bottles of champagne, they're all navigating life, legacy and loyalty "With big personalities, deep histories and no shortage of designer drama the path to connection is never simple - but it's always captivating. London's these six ladies have answered." Ryan herself is no stranger to the world of television, as she recently joined the judging panel for Canada's Got Talent. She also regularly tours the UK and beyond with her acclaimed stand-up show Battleaxe. Alongside these endeavours, Ryan hosts the hit podcasts Telling Everybody Everything and What's My Age Again?
