Amazon £30 Bluetooth speaker delivers quality sound and is 'so easy to use'

For those who are making the most of the glorious weather by hosting a garden party for their friends and family, one essential item to have available is a portable speaker. While people are chatting away enjoying their drinks and grilled food, the mood can be lifted further with some music in the background.

The RIENOK Bluetooth Speaker normally retails for £32.99 and comes in a range of colours - blue, grey and pink. However, Amazon has made this compact device slightly more affordable as the black edition is currently selling for £29.99.
Equipped with 30W high power full frequency drivers, the wireless bluetooth speaker also comes with an advanced digital processor to create a high-fidelity sound system. If the sound quality still isn't as rich as some people prefer, there is also an extra bass button to provide enhanced sound.
Shoppers will also be able to continue their outdoor party late into the night - as long as they don't annoy the neighbours - because the speaker is able to provide up to 30 hours of playtime per charge. However, Amazon does note that this will vary depending on volume, lighting and music type.
If providing background tunes wasn't enough, this bluetooth speaker also comes with RGB lights that will change with the music. Additionally, the speaker is IPX7 waterproof so it can be fully immersed in a metre of water and still keep on working.
Perfect for outdoor fun, the speaker is also said to be resistant to rain, dust, snow, mud and any accidental spills. Whether used at home or while travelling, this portable speaker will become an essential companion for a variety of occasions.
However, for those who are willing to splash a bit more cash on a bigger brand, Amazon is also selling the Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen) for £149. Available in black, grey, green and blue, this speaker can connect to multiple devices at once even if they are nine metres away.
Alternatively, Argos has chopped £10 off the price of the JBL Flip Essential 2 Portable Waterproof Speaker, which currently has a five-star rating. While now only £79.99, this waterproof device can only provide up to 10 hours of playtime.
However, the great value of the RIENOK Bluetooth Speaker has seen shoppers snapping it up. It has been bought more than 2,000 times in the last month and boasts a 4.6-star rating from almost 30,000 reviews.
One delighted shopper said: "I can't believe how good this little Bluetooth speaker is. It's sturdy, a nice design and comes with a C charger cable, AUX cable and a lanyard, which is basically a black shoelace.
"Sound quality and volume are much better and louder than I expected. It is so easy to use. You turn it on, turn your phone's Bluetooth on, select the speaker and Pair! That's it! Highly recommend."
Another added: "I was extremely surprised by the sound quality of this speaker! The bass is pretty rich, great build quality and looks great!
"I'm usually really fussy when it comes to to sound quality leading me to only really buy Bose in the past, but I really just needed something for when I was working on cars or buses so I wasn't going to spend a fortune on anything, so I'd thought I'd give this a try and I'm really happy I did."
However, one shopper experienced a slight issue despite praising the speaker. They wrote: "This is my second purchase of this speaker, my first one is not 12 months old and has blown up ....but the sound out of this speaker is great and is a lovely portable speaker, hopefully this one will last more then 12 months."
Another three-star reviewer wasn't as impressed: "Honestly, it's ok. Nothing amazing. Sound is adequate but nothing outstanding. Seems durable and looks smart. Battery length is good. Wouldn't recommend it to my friends though."
On the flip side, one five-star reviewer has bought multiple speakers. They said: "I bought two and they synchronise easily, sounding great and very simple to use. They are pretty waterproof as well. Highly recommended."
A further shopper also commented: "Have a couple of these. Used one for work (roofer) now for over two years and honestly so good. Been out in all weather, been dropped loads of times. Robust and sound quality great!"
