TAS Offshore wins RM38mil contracts to supply tugboats for Indonesian firms
KUALA LUMPUR: TAS Offshore Bhd has bagged a RM38 million shipbuilding contracts for six tugboats from two new customers in Indonesia.
The company, however, did not disclose the names of the clients in a bourse filing today.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the financial year ending 2026.
"The revenue generated from the contracts is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial year ending May 31, 2026," it added.
In a separate filing, TAS Offshore declared an interim single-tier dividend of two sen per share for FY25, with the payment scheduled for June 18.
TAS Offshore's share price closed half a sen or 0.9 per cent lower at 57.5 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM103.5 million.
