Sime Darby Property's new link homes in City of Elmina sold out on launch day
KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd has marked a significant achievement with the complete sell-out of its latest phase of linked homes at The Nine, Elmina Green—on the very day of its official launch.
In a statement today, the developer said the overwhelming response reaffirms the strong and growing appeal of the City of Elmina as a premier destination for wellness-focused, multigenerational living.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM198.2 million, all 192 units of the double-storey linked homes were swiftly snapped up, following a wave of interest first seen during the early bird preview in March 2025.
Targeted for completion in June 2026, The Nine, Elmina Green is designed to support multigenerational living with functional layouts, ample natural light and versatile indoor-outdoor spaces.
Each unit features an open-plan concept with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, complemented by a 12-foot backyard garden ideal for extended family activities.
Built-ups range from 2,000 to 2,342 square feet (sqft), with prices starting from RM921,888.
Sime Darby Property's chief operating officer for township development, Apollo Leong, said the swift and complete take-up of The Nine, Elmina Green, reflects not only buyer confidence in Sime Darby Property but also the increasing appeal of thoughtfully planned communities like the City of Elmina.
"We are encouraged by this positive market response and remain committed to delivering well-designed homes that respond to the evolving needs of Malaysian families," he added.
The latest launch has attracted a mix of first-time homeowners, upgraders, young families, and multigenerational households, signalling an emerging preference for sustainable townships offering connectivity, community, and wellness features.
Situated just 2 km from the Elmina City Centre, the development benefits from proximity to shopping, dining and daily conveniences at the highly successful Elmina Lakeside Mall, which boasts 100 per cent occupancy with quality tenants.
It is also located strategically near the education hub and is well-connected to the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) and DASH, providing access to major destinations across the Klang Valley.
Sime Darby Property said The Nine's success adds to a string of achievements within the award-winning City of Elmina, the group's flagship wellness township, which is built on principles of sustainability, liveability and biodiversity.
It also aligns with the group's purpose to be a value multiplier for people, businesses, economies and the planet.
