'Every day there is something coming out of Washington [D.C.] that makes absolutely no sense. The city of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass are making it clear that we are not going to stand for it,' Mayor Evans said.
It was also announced that the City of Rochester is joining a lawsuit alongside other sanctuary cities against the federal government due to threats that federal funding would be cut from them.
