Happy Mother's Day ROTB!
Happy Mother's Day to all moms related to our ROTB Birdgang,
What was the best advice your mom ever gave you?
Words of wisdom from my 'alma mater', Margaret Brennan Mitchell:
1. On making good connections and friends: 'E = mc2. after that, it's who you know in life.'
2. On keeping a savings account: 'When the paycheck comes, always pay yourself first.'
3. On shrugging off hurtful insults: 'Consider the source.'
4. On going to the horse track: 'Always bet the 4th horse in the 4th race.'
5. At the end of every suppertime grace: 'Let us provide for the wants and needs of others.'
6. Whenever in the company of a hilarious family member or friend: 'Who are we with?!!'
To all moms everywhere --- thank you and bless you for your inspiration, wisdom and everlasting love.
