During an interview with Pinkvilla, Jackson said, "I love the movie 'RRR.'" I love the dance battle. But it's so crazy they jumped out with the tigers and everything! And also, the storyline is crazy. It's so deep. It's about friendship, but at the same time, they become enemies. And then at the end, the battle's just like dancing."
While the premise could have easily gone over-the-top, Jackson was genuinely surprised at how well it all came together.
"In those types of situations and plots, it's so easy to be cringe. But it wasn't. I was like, "Wow, it takes a lot of effort," he added.
When asked if he could try out the film's now-iconic 'Naatu Naatu' hookstep, the singer humbly brushed it off, saying he doesn't consider himself better than his favorite Bollywood dancer,
. "It's crazy how you move your feet like that." I can't do it. I'm not better than Hrithik. He can dance.
"That's crazy, I don't know how they do it," said Jackson.
Back in 2023, he chatted with fans on X (formerly Twitter) and passionately explained the plot of the film, where he explained that it is a movie about two brothers, but they don't know they are fighting each other. The makers then responded to him with a sweet message.
