PM Modi to hold roadshow in city, launch digital donation system for Puri temple

The PM, who is scheduled to arrive in the afternoon, will receive a traditional welcome before participating in several govt programmes, including a public address at Janata Maidan. A key highlight of Modi's visit will be the inauguration of a digital donation system (hundi) for the Puri Jagannath Temple, modernising its centuries-old offering system. "The digital initiative is not just a technological upgrade — it's a spiritual bridge connecting millions of devotees to Lord Jagannath, regardless of their location," said a senior official of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
