Sarah Jessica Parker reveals little-known secret about Sex and the City

Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed a hidden, behind-the-scenes secret about Sex and the City - and it's one that will totally shock fans. Parker, who played the iconic character Carrie Bradshaw on the 1998 hit show, was known for drinking pink-hued Cosmopolitans - a cocktail made with vodka, cranberry juice, Cointreau, and lime juice. However, it turns out that the Cosmos we always saw the ladies drinking weren't exactly what they seemed. 'It wasn't until the show ended that I had a proper Cosmopolitan,' Parker, 60, admitted during a June 2 appearance on Andy Cohen 's SiriusXM radio show, Radio Andy. 'Because I think the ones on the show that every amazing prop person may ever worked with and alongside, did cranberry juice and a twist...' she continued. Cynthia Nixon, who played lawyer Miranda Hobbes on the series, admitted to Cohen that the drinks just tasted like watered down cranberry juice. While the show was airing, Parker recalled that many people would send her Cosmopolitans, but she wasn't a big fan, although she was 'grateful.' They just simply weren't very delicious at some of the restaurants she tried back in the day. 'And so, and then when people very kindly sent me a Cosmopolitan in that particular chapter, there wasn't a lot of finesse around them,' Parker shared. 'So I was under the impression that a Cosmopolitan wasn't worth anyone's time.' Now, however, she touts a different story after she tried a Cosmo at New York City hotspot Morandi. Interestingly enough, during a 2019 interview with Interview Magazine, the star shared that she's not a big drinker in general. In fact, Cohen, her longtime friend, called her a 'one sip a night' kind of gal. 'Yes, as told by Andy Cohen, for many years, I just didn't drink as much as anybody else. I think I've been drinking wine for about 10 or 12 years, actually,' the mom-of-three told the outlet at the time. 'I started drinking wine because I travel so much and I always wanted to have local experiences everywhere I went and wherever I go,' she explained. Parker admitted that she liked to drink wine at the end of the day, or when she's dining with her friends. She also shared that she wasn't great at making cocktails - especially the Cosmopolitan. 'I don't make drinks at home, I don't know how to make cocktails. So, that's why wine is my friend! All it takes for me is a corkscrew or just a twist of the wrist,' Parker said. Her Cosmo confession comes as the season three premiere of the Sex and the City spinoff, And Just Like That, premiered to HBO Max on May 29. The spinoff, which stars Parker as Bradshaw, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York, and Nixon as Hobbes, shows the ladies years later, living their life as adults in New York City. In recent years, the three ladies have worked together on various Sex and The City related projects. The group filmed two spinoff movies - one in 2008 and one in 2010 - but the third one never got off the ground. However, there have been rumors that actress Kim Cattrall was feuding with the cast. She famously did not sign on to revive her character as Samantha on And Just Like That... during the first season, but made a cameo at the end of the season two finale.

"Are you divorced yet?" Lewis asked. "I don't know. I signed something," Haack said. "There's like a process after the process. It was resolved in mediation after I think 12 hours. The Flipping Out host, 55, prodded further: "Are you happy with the settlement or do you think it was fair?" "I heard a saying once, like if you both think you're screwed, then whatever you want," Haack responded. "I don't know how it goes, but…" "If both parties are equally unhappy after the negotiation, then you got what you want," co-host Shane Douglas chimed in. "Yeah. I mean, look, it's not great, but I guess it's done," the Christina on the Coast star shared. Haack added that her marriage to Hall was "so short" and hinted she didn't want to acknowledge their relationship at all. "Actually, you know what? I'm actually identifying as only twice divorced now. It's official," she said. The real estate investor played coy when asked about topics like alimony and property exchanges, but said her attorney was "magic." On the radio show, Haack claimed that during mediation, Hall said his mother was approached by someone during her yoga class, who accused him of being a "thief." "I will say something that I thought was a little bit funny at mediation. So, at one point, this thing came up where his reputation got hurt or whatever because you know, he was a reality TV star before me, and now he can't be a reality TV star anymore because nobody likes him and his mom was at yoga and while she was doing her yoga poses, a fellow yogian said, 'Your son is a thief,' during yoga class." "That's not very namaste," Douglas said, to which Haack replied, "Kind of made me laugh." Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Former first lady Michelle Obama has spoken out about what some perceived as a "mistake" she made after moving into the White House. Newsweek contacted Michelle Obama's representative for comment via email. The Context The Becoming author and her husband, former President Barack Obama, lived at the White House from 2009 to 2017 during his two terms in office. The couple wed in October 1992 and share two daughters: Malia Obama and Sasha Obama. What To Know On Tuesday's Radio Andy call-in episode of SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa, Michelle Obama said she was criticized for prioritizing motherhood following her husband's presidential win. "How difficult was that to raise your daughters in the public eye under constant threat, total scrutiny all the time?" host Kelly Ripa asked, adding: "What kind of a force field or human shields did you have to invent for them? Because what you did was unprecedented." "It took a lot of intentionality," the former first lady said. Frist lady Michelle Obama and her husband, President Barack Obama, on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., on April 28, 2015."I don't know if you remember when Barack first came into office and the question was posed to me: 'What's your agenda?' And as a person who had held a job and run nonprofits and been an associate dean and on and on and on, my work agenda was easy. I was going to have a very clear, robust agenda on issues that mattered. I knew how to do that," she said, adding, "So I instead focused on the thing that I really was worried about, which was mothering my children." She added that her kids were her "first priority" when the family first moved into the White House. "I made the mistake, I guess, in some people's eyes, to say that I'm going to be mom-in-chief. I'm going to focus on making sure that they get settled. I'm going to spend a lot of time making sure that their lives are normal," Michelle Obama said. Some women said "it was selling out," which "surprised me," she added. "I thought that many women as mothers would understand how difficult it is to raise whole people," she continued. "That, you know, even while we do jobs and we change the world—in my view, that remains my most important job on this planet." Ripa commented on the expectations Michelle Obama's daughters may have faced: "I'm sure there's tons of pressure also on being, not just a good student but an exemplary student. There's almost that unfair curve of 'you have to be better than the best because this is what is expected of you.'" "We call that the Obama tax for them," Michelle Obama said. "It's like you'll have it the rest of your life, but you also have a lot of benefits." She continued: "Let me just say that having my brother, his family, my mom—having them come on a regular basis and having the White House feel like our house on Euclid Avenue. Because it's not the house, it's who's in it. My brother, my sister-in-law, my nieces and nephews, they helped to stabilize things, and I'm grateful that they were willing to be on that journey with us." What Happens Next Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa airs Tuesdays at 5 p.m. ET on SiriusXM's Radio Andy channel and is available to stream wherever listeners get their podcasts. Andy Cohen Breaks Down in Tears as He Recalls a Recent Comment from His 6-Year-Old Son Ben

Andy Cohen is looking back on a sweet moment with his son. During an episode of SiriusXM's Radio Andy earlier this week, the late-night host, 56, recalled an adorable moment he shared with his son Benjamin, 6, after returning home from his Spring Break trip to Disney World. Cohen said that during a trip to the park, he noticed a kid who looked like a teenager hanging around. 'And I go, 'That's gonna be you. … One day you're gonna be like, 'Dude, I don't want to hang out with you,' ' he said, joking that his son would grow tired of hanging out with him as he got older. 'And he goes, 'No, I'm not gonna do that.'" 'And he goes, 'You know, Daddy, when I'm 60' — oh, I'm gonna cry — he goes, 'I wanna take a pill so I can come back and be little like this so I can just be with you,' he continued, adding that he thinks his son is now realizing he won't always be around. 'I hate to end the show in tears, but … we had such a deep [talk] and had a long hug on the playground when he was, you know, thinking about that." "I told you earlier that I wasn't someone that had a lot of self-doubt," he told Duchovny, "But, I mean, this will do it to you — being a parent. You start to question everything, especially as a single parent." Cohen continued to list the questions that "keep him up at night," sharing, "Everything from what kind of world am I bringing my child into, to, you know, what's gonna happen to us? "Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life," Cohen said in 2018, shortly before his son Ben's birth. "Though it's taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet." Cohen, who was 50 when his son Ben was born, also said that he'd "never thought it would be possible" for him to have a family. "When I was growing up and when we were growing up … I just never thought it would be possible as a gay man to grow up and have a family," he continued. "... I'm so grateful to a wonderful surrogate that I'm working with." Read the original article on People
