Man dies of heart attack during Aidiladha slaughter
MANJUNG: A man died after suffering a heart attack during an Aidiladha sacrificial slaughter at Kampung Sungai Rumput, Kampung Sitiawan, yesterday.
Radzuan Nanyan, 50, reportedly collapsed in a village field around 12.30pm, shortly after the slaughter of the third cow.
Manjung police chief Assistant Commissioner Hasbullah Abdul Rahman said Radzuan fainted at the scene and was rushed to Seri Manjung Hospital's emergency unit, where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death was a heart attack, and the case has been classified as sudden death (SDR).
Radzuan had been actively involved in the sacrificial slaughters, which included several cattle from the local community.
A viral video shows villagers working together to transport him to the hospital in an ambulance following the incident.
