Cool temperatures set to continue through Ottawa Race Weekend
It's day four of the stretch of cool weather in Ottawa, with below-seasonal temperatures expected to continue through the weekend. The temperature warmed up to 12.9 C on Tuesday, eight degrees cooler than normal for this time of year. Environment Canada's forecast calls for a high of 16 C today, and 11 C on Thursday and Friday. The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 21 C and a low of 9 C. It will be mainly cloudy today with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 16 C. Cloudy tonight with a 40 per cent chance of evening showers. Rain beginning near midnight. Low 9 C. Periods of rain are expected on Thursday. High 11 C. Friday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. High 11 C. The outlook for Saturday calls for cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 13 C. Sunday will see a mix of sun and cloud. High 17 C. Ottawa River The rain in the forecast this week is expected to slow down the decrease in water levels along the Ottawa River. The Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board says flows are 'declining gradually' along the main stem of the river. 'Rainfall over the next days is expected to slow down the decrease of levels and flows,' the planning board said in a statement. 'Conditions at all locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River are expected to remain above average for this time of year over the coming week.'

Intermittent damp weather for Seattle through Tuesday
SEATTLE - Damp weather will continue at times in the Seattle area through Tuesday before drier weather potentially returns Wednesday. Today will be far less wet compared to what many experienced on Saturday. Drier skies are likely between 6 p.m. Sunday night and roughly 2 a.m. Monday. Enjoy our partly sunny to mostly cloudy weather today. Be prepared for a possibly messy commute Monday morning. A band of widespread, drenching rain could sweep through Puget Sound by about 7 a.m. This could drop visibility in a big way and create slippery conditions. Seattle weather: Showery, cool forecast for Mother's Day weekend
