TVS Motor partners with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers across India

ADVERTISEMENT TVS Motor Company on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025–26. TVS Motor stock closed at ₹2,748.60 today, down 0.54%. As part of the agreement, Kadam Mobility, a fleet and EV infrastructure platform, will roll out TVS King EV MAX vehicles in phases, starting in select pilot zones by the second quarter of the fiscal year. The deployment will expand gradually in both volume and route coverage across metro and Tier 1 cities. The collaboration is aimed at bolstering India's electric vehicle (EV) transition and promoting dignified employment, especially among women and underrepresented communities. Kadam plans to integrate the vehicles into its wider EV ecosystem, which includes charging infrastructure and driver training programmes. The initiative marks a significant step toward accelerating India's electric vehicle transition and strengthening sustainable urban transportation, the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday. Phased Rollout Starting Q2 FY26 The companies will commence deploying the TVS King EV Max in pilot zones from the July-August quarter (Q2FY26), with gradual expansion planned in terms of fleet size and operational routes. Kadam Mobility will focus on metro and tier-1 cities as the partnership scales. TVS Motor Company on Thursday entered into a pact with cab aggregator startup OOR Cabs , to supply 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025-26. According to a company release, this partnership is aimed at promoting sustainable urban mobility across Tamil Nadu. "As part of the initiative, OOR Cabs will deploy the vehicles for eco-friendly intra-city passenger services, beginning with Trichy (Tiruchirappally), and progressively expand operations to Madurai and Coimbatore. The integration of these electric vehicles into OOR Cabs' fleet reinforces both companies' commitment to cleaner, more efficient transportation solutions," it said. TVS King EV Max's features including Bluetooth connectivity and quick charging capability have been customised in line with OOR Cabs' vision of delivering an enhanced passenger experience. As part of the event, the first batch of TVS King EV Max vehicles were delivered to customers. A total of 10 units were ceremonially handed over during the event held in Tiruchirappalli.
