Indian diaspora, foreign nations back India's stand on terrorism, says All-party delegation member Rajeev Rai
Athens [Greece], May 29 (ANI): Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai, who is part of the all-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, said that wherever the group has gone, they have received full support from both foreign governments and the Indian community. Rai added that people across countries, along with the Indian diaspora, stand with India, its army, and its government, and this unity is the real strength of the nation. Speaking to ANI on Wednesday (local time), Rajeev Rai said, 'Wherever we have gone, all the countries and the Indians everywhere are with us. The entire diaspora is with the country, our army, and the government, and this spirit is the strength of India... We have not only convinced the governments of different countries, but people there are also with us...' Former Indian Ambassador to the European Union, Manjeev Singh Puri, part of the same delegation, emphasised that all civilisational nations must unite against terrorism and bring perpetrators to justice. Puri stated that Greece has a deep understanding of terrorism and is fully aware of the role Pakistan has played in spreading it globally. '...All civilizational nations must be against terrorism, must bring terrorists to justice and must ensure that terrorism has no plan. Greece has its own understanding of terrorism, and a very strong understanding. They also know the country from which terrorism has spread all over the world, and I mean strictly. I should say Pakistan. They are well aware of it. They've been strong in telling us that they stand with us,' Puri said. The delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, also includes Rajeev Rai (Samajwadi Party), Mian Altaf Ahmad (Jammu and Kashmir National Conference), Brijesh Chowta (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta (Rashtriya Janata Dal), Ashok Kumar Mittal (Aam Aadmi Party), and Former envoys Manjeev S Puri and Jawed Ashraf. The delegation aims to brief international partners on India's response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and its broader fight against cross-border terrorism while engaging with leaders in Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia. The multi-party delegation, consisting of seven groups led by one MP each, has been initiated to counter global misinformation and highlight India's zero-tolerance policy on terrorism. (ANI)

We will fight for our integrity. We will stand as one against terror attacks. So this is the message we wanted to reach to the world, and of course we've worked with Russia for many years, and we would seek the understanding of Russia and we would hope that they will be in a position to be able to support us very strongly because I think they know beyond doubt that India stands for peace. 'During the event, AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal slammed Pakistan and said that Pakistan is not only nourishing terrorism but is also nurturing, supporting and promoting terrorism throughout the world. He added, 'Whole world is suffering because of the terrorism being nurtured by Pakistan. India has also suffered very heavily... But India wants to be the ambassador of anti-terrorist drive of the world, because we know what terrorism is. We have suffered from all quarters, and we don't want that the other countries of the world should suffer. In India there is a saying, 'Vasudhev Kutumbakam', which means the entire world is one family. We believe in that. We believe in peace.' The MP's team said Friday that the flight could land after a delay of several hours. Due to this, the MP's flight was denied permission to land and was asked to stay airborne for several hours. Indian embassy staff later received the delegation when the flight landed at the airport after a prolonged delay. Kanimozhi is leading a group to Russia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, and Latvia to inform these countries about India's recent Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, which was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attacks. The team will explain India's position on regional security and raise awareness about Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism. 'Enough is enough': India's all-party delegations arrive in Russia, other nations to Pakistan
India's all-party delegation to Russia, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi, arrived at a hotel in Moscow on Thursday. The delegation is visiting Russia, Slovenia, Greece, Latvia and Spain to reaffirm India's 'zero tolerance' policy towards terrorism in light of the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. The 8-member delegation includes SP MP Rajeev Rai, NC MP Mian Altaf Ahmad, BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chowta (Retd), AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal, Ambassador Manjeev S Puri and Ambassador Jawed Ashraf. Upon arrival in Moscow, Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai told ANI, "Russia is our historic friend, who stood with us during all tough situations.
