Rakesh Shukla
of Prayagraj has been invited to deliver a special lecture at Oxford University, UK.
Shukla will share his insights on the ancient journey of India as witnessed during the Maha Kumbh 2025 and the global relevance of Indian culture in a special session on June 28.
Established in 1823, Oxford University is one of the world's most prestigious and respected platforms for debates and discussions. Over the years, distinguished global and Indian leaders such as UK Prime Ministers Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher, American President Ronald Reagan, and Indian personalities including Shashi Tharoor, Anupam Kher, and Javed Akhtar delivered their thoughts here. Now, the voice of Prayagraj will resonate through Shukla on this distinguished stage.
The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh witnessed participation from over 66 crore devotees this year. This Maha Kumbh was shaped as an innovation in Sanatan culture, blending tradition with technology to provide an unparalleled experience for pilgrims. The event showcased India's spiritual heritage, ethos of service, and global outlook, said Shukla. He further informed that the lecture is organised by the India Global Foundation, with Soumyata Mishra serving as the chief coordinator.
