Police searching for escaped inmate in south Alabama
MOBILE, Ala. (WIAT) — Police are searching for an inmate who escaped from a work detail in south Alabama. Randy Jerome Richburg, 51, walked off from the Mobile Work Release at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Mobile CBF/CWC in Mobile. He is currently serving a 20-year-prison sentence for second-degree receiving stolen property. Richburg is 5'11', weighs 220 pounds and has different tattoos of a cross, sniper, dream catcher and the phrase 'God only knows.' Alabama inmate escapes from Mobile work release
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An inmate escaped from a Mobile work release Friday morning, has learned. Passport Fair coming to Mobile (one day only) According to an Alabama Department of Corrections release, 51-year-old Randy Jerome Richburg escaped at about 8:30 a.m. He was working at a work release in Mobile County, the release said. Richburg was last seen wearing blue jean pants, a blue-and-green shirt, and white tennis shoes. He has served 14 years of a 20-year term, after being convicted of second-degree receiving stolen property, according to the release.
