Fort Drum to observe quiet hours on Memorial Day
FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WWTI) – Fort Drum has announced its schedule for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26.
The base will open cemeteries for visitation on Memorial Day. There are 13 cemeteries located on the installation, and 10 of those are accessible without entering the Fort Drum cantonment area.

Community members wishing to visit the cemeteries located in Fort Drum's range complex can do so anytime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 26 and do not need to coordinate with Range Control to obtain a vehicle pass for that day.
Visitors are asked to follow all signage for approved routes and remain within the boundaries of the cemetery during their visit.
The three cemeteries within the gates – Cooper Cemetery, Quaker Cemetery, and the gravesite at LeRay Mansion – require a pass for visitors to enter the installation. Individuals can get a pass inside the Visitor Control Center, located at the Lt. Gen. Paul Cerjan Gate, after completing a quick background check.
