BIC collaborates with REHC to open new parking venue for F1 ticket holders who do not have car pass
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', announced today that, in cooperation with Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), it has opened a new parking area at REHC for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025. The car park is available to all those with tickets to the grand prix but do not have a car pass. Shuttle buses will be transporting fans to and from REHC and BIC every 10 minutes throughout the race weekend. Initiated due to high demand, this initiative further supports the overall traffic and parking plan, helping to alleviate congestion in the area around BIC. BIC extends its sincerest thanks and appreciation to REHC for providing the additional car parking areas. Ticketholders are reminded that only those with the appropriate car pass will be permitted in the vicinity of the circuit, or into car parks within the venue.

REHC Kicks Off Eid Al Fitr Festival with Thrilling Races and Celebrations
His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club's (REHC) High Committee, attended the festive launch of the 'Eid Al Fitr' Festival, organised by the REHC in celebration of the joyous occasion. The event coincided with the 26th and 27th races of the 2024-2025 racing season, held on Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4. The festival drew a large turnout of horseracing enthusiasts and families, blending traditional Eid festivities with thrilling sporting action in a vibrant and festive setting. The opening night featured intense competition among elite horses, showcasing a high level of sportsmanship and excitement on the track. Spectators were treated to a memorable evening that celebrated both the spirit of Eid and the heritage of equestrian sports. During the evening, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received the REHC Cup from Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of REHC. Meanwhile, Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa presented the Late Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Cup to His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa. Additionally, Zayed Rashid Al Zayani, Chairman of Al Zayani Investments Group, awarded the Majid Rashid Al Zayani Cup to winning owner Ebrahim Al Afoo. The festivities will continue with the 27th race on Friday, April 4, featuring eight rounds of high-stakes racing. Key titles up for grabs include the Late Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Nass Cup, the Applied Science University Cup, the Sarens Nass Cup, and the Royal Golf Club Cup. The 26th race already witnessed thrilling contests for prestigious titles, including the Late Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Cup, the Majid Rashid Al Zayani Cup, and the REHC Cup, setting the stage for another exhilarating evening of celebration and competition. The 'Eid Al Fitr' festival reflects REHC's commitment to combining cultural celebrations with the enduring legacy of Bahraini horseracing.
