Despite both the teams have secured the place in the UEFA Europa League finals, they are not getting the rhythm in the Premier League 2024/25. United are on 16th place, whereas Tottenham Hotspur are on 17th place. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur's domestic form continues to spiral as both clubs suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League 2024/25 season last night. While they have impressively booked their spots in the UEFA Europa League final, their performances in the English top flight have been far from convincing. Manchester United's 2-0 loss saw them slump to 16th place in the table, recording their 17th defeat of the campaign — the most in a single league season for the club since 1973, when they narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight. Shockingly and of course, deservingly, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have booked their places in the final, knocking out Arsenal and Barcelona, respectively, in the semifinals. The results mean that the biggest footballing nations, i.e. England, Spain, and Germany will be absent from the UCL final for the first time since 2004. PSG secured their spot after overcoming Arsenal in a thrilling two-legged battle, while Inter Milan silenced Barcelona with a composed and tactical masterclass.
