Display at West Ham 'a sign of things to come'?
We did it! One whole weeks of mounting pressure, we finally have something to smile about. A very hard-earned point on the road at West Ham and coming from behind to level the record-low tally set by Derby is a point that feels like a win. Unlike the Crystal Palace heartbreak. After recent collapses to Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, we were all starting to wonder whether we would hit that 11-point target. The new challenge is to surpass that. We have to fancy our chances in the final five games boss Simon Rusk has Saints playing with more confidence and we would certainly have been worth a lead at half-time. But once again, we could not capitalise on our chances and conceded in the opening stages of the second are all hoping this is a sign of things to come. Can we become harder to beat? Just maybe we can play with more freedom now that pressure has released. Hopefully the home form can turn around to give fans a reason to keep bums on our 11 points this season, six points have come away from home and a meagre five at St. Mary's Stadium. We need to energy from those travelling no doubt that the point at London Stadium is something to build on and with Fulham at home this weekend, can we see us play like we're not already relegated? Here's hoping we can see St. Mary's stay full until till the final whistle for a change. It should now be a case of how many points we can get to make sure we head into the off-season with as much momentum as more from Ray Hunt at the In that Number podcast, external

'A nice change to applaud the players off'
The records will show another defeat, and another three goals leaked, but it does not tell the whole started as mission impossible, but at half-time, it was very much possible. We took a shock but deserved 1-0 lead over the champions-elect in their own back yard. It was a very spirited performance, albeit with the outcome remaining the same but that first-half display alone made the 12-hour round trip worth it. Then reality hit. But still, it was a performance we did not expect. It made a nice change to applaud the players off the is a familiar pattern emerging. And I don't just mean the defeats. It is the fourth time this season, we have led at the half-time break and we have only come away with one point from those. In the home game against Ipswich, we led 1-0 and were pegged back for the point in the 95th minute. The 2-0 half-time lead against Leicester ended in a 2-3 defeat in the 98th minute. We held a 1-0 lead at Old Trafford until 81 minutes, only for Manchester United to shift up through the gears for the 3-1 win. And most recently the same outcome at total, that's 23 points dropped from winning positions. If only all games were 45 minutes are yet to see that total 90-minute performance. We have snippets from games but we just cannot sustain it. Boss Ivan Juric admitted the team is young and need to keep said afterwards: "Here is a moment that you have to be more focused, [have] more concentration. I think we can use what happened in the future for these young guys."It is a very harsh learning curve, but it is the same mistakes we keep tough game up next at St. Mary's against a Wolves side looking to pull away further from the relegation zone. If we can maintain that first 45-minute showing at Anfield, then there is no reason why we cannot get the more from Ray Hunt at the In that Number podcast, external

Owens Cross Roads man sentenced for 2014 conspiracy to export goods to Iran
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHNT) — An Owens Cross Roads man was sentenced to five years in prison for violating a U.S. Sanctions on Iran in 2014. On Tuesday, Ray Hunt was sentenced to five years in federal prison for violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. In 2024, Hunt pleaded guilty to conspiracy to export U.S. origin goods to the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the DOJ in May of 2014, Hunt registered Vega Tools LLC with the Alabama Secretary of State as a business to purchase and resale energy sector equipment. Justice officials said he operated the business to buy, receive and ship U.S., goods from locations in Madison County. The DOJ said beginning in at least 2015 Hunt conspired with two Iranian companies to illegally export U.S.-manufactured industrial equipment to Iran. The department said Hunt used several deceptive practices to hide these exports including using third-party transshipment companies from Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and routing payments through UAE banks. Authorities said Hunt also lied to shipping companies about the value of the exports to avoid filing electronic export information to U.S. authorities. He also lied to suppliers and shippers saying the products were meant for customers in UAE and Turkey. The DOJ said Hunt also lied to customs officials upon a return from a March 2020 trip to Iran.
