Kuwait gymnastics team with their coach KUWAIT: Kuwait's girls rhythmic gymnastics team won three medals, one gold and two silver, during the Poland International Championship held in the city of Gdynia, amid wide participation from a number of advanced countries in the game. The Game Federation praised this achievement, which confirms the development of Kuwaiti rhythmic gymnastics, lauding the efforts of the players who contributed to achieving this achievement, namely: Fawzia Al-Abdulkareem, Raya Al-Qassar, Nabila Al-Kharafi and Sarah Al-Bannai. The Federation explained that the tournament witnessed the participation of 23 countries, namely Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Turkey, Egypt in addition to Kuwait and the host country (Poland), noting that participation in such strong tournaments comes within the federation's plan to prepare a team capable of competing in continental and international tournaments. The federation congratulated the players on this outstanding achievement, praising their performance and the efforts of the national team's coach, Ukrainian Viktoria Vsyuk.

The Kuwait Gymnastics Federation hailed the team's achievement as a testament to the country's steady progress in rhythmic gymnastics. The medal-winning athletes included Fawzia Al-Abdulkarim, Raya Al-Qassar, Nabila Al-Kharafi, and Sarah Al-Bannai, whose performances stood out internationally. The Federation emphasized the significance of competing in a tournament that featured top-tier athletes from across the globe, including countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the host nation, Poland. Other participating countries included the Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, New Zealand, Brazil, Egypt, and Kuwait.
