Saturday Morning Webtoons: FUNTIME PHOBIA and WHY YOU SHOULDN'T ENTER A HAUNTED HOUSE
Good morning, fellow WEBTOON readers, and welcome to this week's installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two WEBTOONs we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have captivated us chapter after chapter each week, and we couldn't pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks and an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories. DISCLAIMER: The following posts may contain spoilers for the WEBTOON series Funtime Phobia and Why You Shouldn't Enter a Haunted House . RELATED: 10 Best WEBTOON Series Released in 2024 Funtime Phobia Funtime Phobia WEBTOON Original Series. This week, we are kicking things off with some light-hearted horror with a side of romance. Starberry Circus' Funtime Phobia follows Raylee, a girl with no fears, who ends up at a Circus created for monsters to feast on someone's greatest fears. This is where Chip the clown typically shines. But it seems Raylee might be the one who can't be scared. But he isn't ready to hang up the towel just yet. There must be a phobia that can get a scream out of her. Funtime Phobia is a series perfect for readers who want to dive into the horror genre but are not ready to commit to intense horror. The series premise isn't new, but we love how Starberry Circus weaves the concept through the unique world and characters. The series is still relatively new, but so far, we are obsessed. While we typically binge our series once they hit a significant number of episodes, waiting for updates to drop in real time has been worth it. Funtime Phobia updates on Tuesday and Friday. Readers can find it on the official WEBTOON page. RELATED: Creative Women Behind Incredible WEBTOON Series Why You Shouldn't Enter a Haunted House Why You Shouldn't Enter a Haunted House WEBTOON Original Series. Our second WEBTOON series is BRICK's Why You Shouldn't Enter a Haunted House . It follows Hyeon, a high schooler who looks normal but is anything but that. He can see and interact with spirits and tries to help those around him without giving his talent away. This works until he meets Jeseung, who loves to live-stream in haunted houses. Things seem to be okay at first, but soon, they uncover something more sinister happening. Can Hyeon uncover the truth before it's too late? While our first pick was intro-esque horror, Why You Shouldn't Enter a Haunted House is a more advanced series. It is rated Mature and features content warnings within chapters that we highly suggest checking out before diving in. We have had other series tackle being able to see spirits, but the art within the chapters is what drew us in. The art style helps to give an air of creepiness throughout that becomes unsettling. It's a great series, though we suggest reading it well before bedtime. Why You Should Enter a Haunted House updates every Monday. Readers can find it on the official WEBTOON page. Olney 6 y.o. starts nonprofit to decorate graves ‘across the world': Help here
OLNEY (KFDX/KJTL) — An Olney girl is hoping to make her mark on the world with her own nonprofit, and she's only 6. Raylee Cawthon started Sorrow to Sunshine in January 2025, and it's already amassing a great community response, according to her mom, Malia. 'I'm keeping it going for a long, long time,' Raylee said. It's been her dream for the past year. Local non-profit receives nice donation through an OBI campaign 'She kind of kept bugging me about it, so finally, we were like, 'Ok, let's do it,'' Malia said. Her mission? 'I'm putting flowers on all the graves that don't have any,' Raylee said. 'She didn't understand why some didn't have flowers, so the ones that don't have family here, or the family's already passed on,' Malia said. Raylee made the decision after visiting her grandmother's grave, which is always overflowing with flowers and decor. For Malia, it makes her proud to see her late mother's love bloom through her young daughter. 'It's really great just seeing her be so generous, and my mom, her Nan, was very generous,' Malia said. 'She always was doing for others, so it's really neat to see her light shine out through her.' 'I feel like my grandma always gets a lot more than others,' Raylee said. The idea she had at age 5 is now a full-blown nonprofit dedicated to spreading her light. 'The first two days of having the Facebook page up and going, we had enough money for PVC pipe, plenty left over for flowers,' Malia said. The 6-year-old… 'She always wants to make other people happy, and being around her is just a joy,' Malia said. 'She's just a happy little girl.' 'I hope it happens because it makes it happen to other places, and it makes it happen all around the world,' Raylee said. WFISD Foundation Golf tournament to be held downtown Wichita Falls …Hoping to spread her sunshine everywhere she goes. On Sunday, February 2, the pair hosted a work day to start placing flowers at the almost 1,500 graves in need of flowers at Restland Cemetery in Olney. According to Malia, they had a great turnout, with about 40 volunteers showing up. Sorrow to Sunshine accepts monetary donations and supplies like silk flowers and PVC pipes.
