2 women found dead in Houston County, suspect faces murder charges.
A man is facing two murder charges after Houston County officials found two women dead Sunday, according to the Houston County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office was called to conduct a death investigation just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Woodland Trail, according to the sheriff's office.
'When deputies arrived on scene, they located two deceased adult females and quickly determined that the cause of death for both females was homicide,' the sheriff's office said.
The victims were identified as 29-year-old Re'Dashia Boston and 49-year-old Virginia Boston, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators identified 29-year-old Cordele resident Rashad Williams as a person of interest, the sheriff's office said. Investigators from the Crisp County and Worth County sheriff's office joined the investigation in an effort to help find Williams.
He was found in an abandoned farmhouse in Warwick, in Worth County, the Houston County Sheriff's Office said. He was detained at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
The sheriff's office expects more charges to be filed, in addition to the two counts of murder that Williams currently faces.
