'Fantastic start' for dog-friendly café in Rhos-on-Sea
Scoop opened earlier this month at 3 Penrhyn Avenue, and serves a mouth-watering range of ice creams, "expertly-crafted" coffees and sweet treats.
The shop is owned by Rebecca Faux, who served as landlady of The Valentine Inn in Llanddulas for 10 years, before going on to manage Tides Bistro in the village thereafter.
Now in charge of her own business, Rebecca said the shop had enjoyed a "fantastic start" to life in the picturesque Conwy town.

"We've had a fantastic start, and it's been lovely to see the community enjoying a new café in such a great local spot," Rebecca told the Pioneer.
"After many years in the hospitality industry, it's been really exciting to take the leap and open my own business."
Scoop offers up to 15 Snugburys ice cream flavours, a range of hot drinks, and delicious cakes, including gluten-free options.
To top it all off, the ice cream and coffee shop is dog-friendly, welcoming four-legged friends and their owners.
