Drug house busted in Red Bluff
A residential drug bust in Red Bluff netted two arrests, illegal firearms, methamphetamine, fentanyl and more on May 5. Officers from the Red Bluff Police Department and the CDCR Crisis Response Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant to the 1700 block of Luning Street in Red Bluff around 7 a.m. on Monday. As officers entered the home they reportedly located and detained 11 individuals, including Douglas Martin Dean, 43, and Shane Ludwig, 53, both of Red Bluff. During a search of the residence, according to the RBPD, police located four unregistered firearms, ammunition, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Police reportedly learned the home's residents were allowing people to come and go from the residence to use illegal narcotics and one of the residents was selling methamphetamine and fentanyl in exchange for labor and stolen property. Dean and Ludwig were both arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail. Dean was booked without bail and on suspicion of felony maintaining a place of residency for drug use, drug possession with two prior convictions, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance for sale, two counts of felon in possession of ammunition and two felony warrants. Ludwing was booked on suspicion of keeping a place of residency for use/sales of narcotic substances and other charges. Out of the remaining nine individuals multiple charges have been filed with the Tehama County District Attorney's Office.

Traffic stop leads to drug bust in Red Bluff
A traffic stop on S. Main Street in Red Bluff on Friday, May 2 ended with a man behind bars on drug-related charges. According to the Red Bluff Police Department, an officer made the stop on a vehicle driven by Billie Polley, 40, of Gerber around 3:40 p.m., at Starbucks reportedly because Polley was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant and was driving without a license. Polley was detained on the warrant, while a second Red Bluff police officer arrived and allegedly discovered drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. As police continued to search the vehicle they reportedly located six 9mm pistol rounds, 56 grams of packaged marijuana, a scale, and 46.2 grams of methamphetamine concealed inside an improvised Arizona Tea aluminum can. Polley was placed under arrest on the warrant, and suspicion of transporting and possessing a controlled substance for sales, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and felony possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail.
