Receipt of Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim
DENVER, CO / ACCESS Newswire / June 4, 2025 / Vox Royalty Corp. ( TSX:VOXR )( NASDAQ:VOXR ) ('Vox' or the 'Company') reports that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Vox Royalty Australia Pty Ltd ('Vox Australia'), has been served with a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim that has been commenced in the Supreme Court of Western Australia pursuant to which Vox Australia has been named as a second defendant. The plaintiff alleges, among other things, that the first defendant breached its obligations to the plaintiff in connection with the assignment of the Red Hill royalty to Vox Australia in September 2023 on the basis that the plaintiff had a right of first refusal. The plaintiff is seeking declaratory relief in respect of the assignment of the first defendant's royalty to Vox Australia, or alternatively, damages. Vox Australia acquired the Red Hill royalty as part of a portfolio of nine royalties from the first defendant for a combination of A$6,750,000 in cash and non-cash consideration comprised of Vox providing ongoing royalty related services to the first defendant. Vox's position is that the purported right of first refusal did not apply in the circumstances, and will take all appropriate steps to defend the action. About Vox Vox is a returns focused mining royalty company with a portfolio of over 60 royalties spanning six jurisdictions. The Company was established in 2014 and has since built unique intellectual property, a technically focused transactional team and a global sourcing network which has allowed Vox to target the highest returns on royalty acquisitions in the mining royalty sector. ‘That door is open': Broncos bombshell as Haas puts himself in shop window to all NRL rivals
James Hooper has revealed Payne Haas' management has asked every NRL rival club to gauge their interest in signing the Broncos prop from 2027. Haas is arguably the best front-rower in the game and was man-of-the-match in the State of Origin opener, but the Broncos lost their sixth game in seven matches in a 34-6 result against the Sea Eagles in Round 13. FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited-time offer > Off-contract in 2026, Haas is free to negotiate with rivals from November 1, but Hooper revealed on Fox League that his management have effectively put him in the shop window beyond his current contract. 'There is talk that his agent has gone to all the other rival clubs and said, Payne is off-contract as of 2027 and if anybody wants to express interest that door is open,' Hooper said on Fox League. 'The rumblings coming out of Red Hill at the moment are ugly and as the losses mount, the noise will only increase. 'Madge has got to very quickly try and get some fun and some life and frivolity back into going to training and trying to win games because it doesn't look good at the moment.' Yvonne Sampson believes every club in the world will make a play for Haas. 'To risk losing Payne Haas, every single rugby league club in the world would want a Payne Haas,' Sampson said. Mal Meninga believes Michael Maguire needs to get the Broncos back to their winning ways fast or risk losing their best player. 'There is no doubt about that and the first thing you have got to do for a player is keep them happy,' Meninga said. 'They have got to be playing the sort of footy that they love playing. You have got to have some passion and desire and want to be there. You love putting the colours on and running out in the Broncos colours and that's the first thing about it all.' Ex-Broncos coach Kevin Walters agreed enjoyment is a key component for modern players. 'That's the way I coached,' Walters said. 'You play rugby league and there is a lot of accolades and you can make some good money, but you play for the fun and competitive side of it and being part of a team and playing with your best mates and that's what they have got to get back to. 'They need to find their way pretty quickly because we are now 13 rounds in.'

Broncos veteran Adam Reynolds makes a call on his NRL future
The Broncos are confident Adam Reynolds will finish his career in Brisbane after reports emerged of interest from NRL rivals in the veteran halfback. The 34-year-old Reynolds joined the Broncos from South Sydney ahead of the 2022 season and is in the twilight of his career. FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited-time offer. Off contract at the end of this season, the Broncos captain sparked talk of a shift away from Red Hill when he spoke about his future on Triple M's The Rush Hour With Ben Dobbin and Elliott Lovejoy on Thursday. 'Yeah, there's been interest (from other clubs),'' Reynolds said. 'There's obviously talk about. I'm trying to secure my future here at the Broncos. 'I'm sure everyone has read and is sick of hearing about it. For me, it's about letting the manager do all that sort of stuff in the background. 'Brisbane is home no matter what. For our family, we've settled up here. The kids are happy, the wife is happy and when they're right, you have to do what is right.' The Wests Tigers were among the teams linked with a move for Reynolds, with Lachlan Galvin's departure from the joint venture club seemingly imminent. But Reynolds' comments appear to have sparked the Broncos into action, with CODE Sports reporting the club's hierarchy is close to agreeing a one-year extension with the veteran through the 2026 campaign. The masthead states a deal could be finalised within the next month and Reynolds plans to end his career with the Broncos. 'Unless a deal can't be done at Brisbane, there'll be no further conversations with anyone,' Reynolds' manager Steve Gillis told CODE. 'It's not a bidding war, it's not about seeing who comes up with the biggest offer. 'The Tigers aren't the only club we've had a conversation with. But we're trying to do a deal with Brisbane.' Brisbane sit ninth on the ladder with scrutiny on Michael Maguire's coaching growing steadily throughout a relatively poor start to the season.

Bun fight! How do Melbourne's best cinnamon scrolls compare to cult US chain Cinnabon?
We taste five local buns, scrolls and 'Rhondas' and rank them against the American franchise. Cinnamon scrolls have long been an Aussie bakery staple, but lately, they seem to be everywhere – in cafe cabinets, food courts and all over social media. The pillowy, heavily iced spirals developed by Swedish immigrants in the US are arguably the most iconic version of the form. It's this style of scroll that American chain Cinnabon has been perfecting for years, and recently introduced at Watergardens Shopping Centre, where queues form before the shop even opens. Independent venues are also embracing the rise. Caulfield South's Sebby's, which sells out regularly, is expanding to St Kilda; Red Hill's Red Gum Barbecue now has a cinnamon scroll bread-and-butter pudding on its menu. With every bakery adding its own twist, the quest for the perfect cinnamon scroll ultimately comes down to personal taste. But if you would like some guidance, here are six spots to hit. 6. Hector's Bakery cinnamon bun, $8.50 Best icing Hector's fan-favourite buns use a laminated dough layered with a syrupy blend of cinnamon sugar. The result is a delicate, pull-apart texture that lies somewhere between a croissant and panettone. But the real highlight here is the icing, which has a higher proportion of cream cheese than most. While some cinnamon buns can lean sickly, this one's bright and tart. 33 Stewart Street, Richmond, 5. Sebby's classic cinnamon scroll, $7.50 Best cinnamon Sebby's is all about doing one thing well. Its scrolls are slightly denser than the squishy Cinnabon style, but what sets them apart is the Saigon cinnamon, which lends a sharper flavour than the more common Dutch or Sri Lankan varieties. It's balanced by a generous swirl of cream cheese icing or a dairy-free alternative, making it one of the few vegan-friendly scrolls around (for another solid vegan option, check out Mister Nice Guys in Ascot Vale). 4. Heart Bakes cinnamon scroll, $7.50 Best value Heart Bakes' scrolls are hefty – about 9cm high and almost doughnut-like in texture, doused in a liberal drizzle of icing. The cinnamon flavour is subtle, ideal for those who prefer a less intense spice. All baking is done on-site, and dining in means your scroll can be warmed to order. Can't make it to Port Melbourne? You'll also find them at its sibling cafe Heart Coffee in Richmond. 220 Bridge Street, Port Melbourne, 3. Everyday Coffee cinnamon Rhonda, $8.50 Best non-traditional Everyday's take on the cinnamon scroll isn't the most traditional, but it stands out for its depth of flavour. Made from wholegrain brioche fermented for 24 hours, it's laminated with Lard Ass butter, dusted with cinnamon, and baked until flaky and crispy –almost like a palmier. The spice level is strong, rounded out by a thick dollop of cream cheese icing. Visit on a Tuesday to pair it with a coffee for $10. 36-38 Sackville Street, Collingwood, 2. Candied Bakery cinnamon roll, $6.20 Best traditional If a gooey cinnamon centre is your hallmark of a good roll, Candied delivers. Perfected over 11 years, its version is made with wholegrain flour and butter fondant for an extra soft, doughy interior. Thick frosting is swapped for a light glaze that doesn't push the boundaries of sweetness. It's not Cinnabon, but for a local brand, it scratches a similar itch. 136 Hall Street, Spotswood, 1. Cinnabon Classic Roll, $7.95 Best overall Nothing eats like the original. Cinnabon's owners launched the business with a mission to create 'the world's greatest cinnamon roll from scratch' and they've got the process down to a science. Dough is spiralled tightly with Makara cinnamon, an Indonesian variety exclusive to Cinnabon, resulting in five thick, buttery layers. It has a subtle saltiness that's not present in other rolls, and it's always served warm.

Broncos make brutal call on veteran after Michael Maguire social media drama
Martin Taupau is reportedly set to leave the Broncos, with both parties agreeing to go their separate ways with immediate effect. According to Code Sports, the veteran prop's exit from the Red Hill club is set to be formalised next week after he fronted a group of senior Broncos players. Taupau also reportedly sat down with Michael Maguire after he liked a social media post from retired NRL star Elijah Taylor which criticised the former Tigers mentor's coaching style. FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited-time offer > Adam Reynolds, Pat Carrigan, Payne Haas, Ben Hunt and Kotoni Staggs were reportedly the players Taupau fronted over the past 24 hours. Those players were reportedly left disappointed by Taupau's actions, with Maguire desperate for the Broncos squad to buy in to his cultural revamp. Taupau now is reportedly hopeful of securing a new contract and returning to Sydney, having played 256 NRL games across stints at the Tigers, Sea Eagles, Bulldogs and Broncos. Reynolds admitted on Friday that Taupau's actions were far from ideal. 'It's not a good look, but we are united as a group. We are moving in a good direction,' Reynolds said on Triple M's Rush Hour. 'I've had experiences with him (Michael Maguire) in the past and he is a carer, he cares about his players, he's passionate, he wants to win and we are all on the same page and we're all moving forward together as a club. 'It is disappointing…whether he really meant it or not I'm not too sure but that's a conversation Marty will have with the club and they'll handle that internally.' Taylor's post that was liked by Taupau included three reasons why the Broncos weren't delivering despite having a host of multimillion dollar stars, whilst also touching on Maguire's 'intensity'. 'A lot of people are asking me what's wrong with 'Madge' (Maguire), what's wrong with the Broncos,' Taylor said on the Footy Hacks Instagram account. 'One, his intensity. I've never seen a coach ride the game so hard. 'After a win, the world is a better place. After a loss, you're off to a funeral and someone will be getting cooked at the video session. 'Two, training methods. Ninety-five per cent of the time on the field it's full contact. The hardest pre-season I have ever done is with Michael Maguire. 'You haven't done an NRL pre-season until you have done a Michael Maguire pre-season. 'Three, time efficiency. Let's have a meeting for a meeting for a meeting. I'd get home from training and the kids don't know who I am anymore. Hardly home.'
