Dozens of brave participants jumped into Lake Bemidji to raise funds for local Special Olympics as part of the Bemidji Jaycees' 21st Brrrmidji Plunge, and MMIW 218 hosted its annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives event featuring a walk and program at BSU. The winter sports season chugged along as playoffs and sections began for several teams, and the Red Lake Nordic Ski team hosted its first-ever home meet.
