'World exclusive' Lush products to be sold in Poole
LUSH is set to celebrate 30 years in Poole with a day of party games and pampering.
On Saturday, May 24, a free event will be held at the 29 High Street shop and spa to mark the occasion.
Running from 10am to 6pm, the event will feature mini-spa treatments, bath bomb pressing and party games.
Guests will also be able to learn about Lush's history in Poole.
A 'world exclusive' fresh shop will open for the day on the high street, offering heritage products that are unavailable anywhere else in the world.
The event will be held across the shop floor and outdoor spaces, as well as number 33 High Street, which will be transformed into a shop inspired by the brand's original 1995 shop fit.

The event will feature a trail of activities led by Lush experts, including tours of the Lush spa with complimentary hand and arm massages.
At the fresh shop, attendees can purchase products rarely seen since Lush's early days, including Seaweed Sushi Cleansing Rolls, Honey Lumps Bath Bombs and Banana Moon Soap.
Lush product inventor Michelle Leahy said: "Being a Lush superfan myself, I love the beginnings of Lush.
"This Christmas will be my 26th year—so I missed out on four years of products.
"I have delved into the folders in Lush headquarters and played a bit of detective work to piece together formulas and find the missing fresh, unpreserved products I hadn't tried—knowing our customers and other superfans would want to try them too."
Lizzie Oliver, manager of the shop, said: "I have been with Lush for eight years and have had the pleasure of managing the Poole shop for the past three years—I've enjoyed every minute.
"It felt very important to celebrate our 30th birthday with the Poole community, as we wouldn't be here without them.
"There will be plenty of fun to be had showcasing different areas of the Lush business—pampering, product making, party games and more.
"Come along and enjoy the experience—we want to celebrate with you."
Around 1,300 people work for Lush in the area, with 800 staff working in manufacturing sites, plus a strong community of creative support teams.
