#SHOWBIZ: Reen Rahim named Malaysia's most admired actress in 2025
KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Reen Rahim has recently been honoured with the Malaysia's Most Admired Actress 2025 award. The 36-year-old artiste received this accolade at the Malaysian Industry and Entrepreneur Personality Award 2025, organised by Niaga Times, an online business information platform. Feeling humbled by the achievement, Reen, whose full name is Noreen Ashikin Abdul Rahim, shared a video on TikTok featuring her thank you speech after receiving the award. In her speech, she attributed her success to the prayers and unwavering support of her family, especially her husband, Hazim Zainal. "In my 15 years in the industry, I've never received such an accolade or felt this appreciated," she expressed. "I would like to thank everyone involved, directly and indirectly, for this award." She added, "I still can't believe that this event chose to present this to me, an ordinary woman from an ordinary family." At the same event, Reen was also presented with the 2025 Annual Business Excellence Award in recognition of her efforts in launching her personal care product, Reen Rahim Hygiene Wash.

The actress, who accepted the award in late May, stated that she had never been awarded or recognised for her work for the past 15 years since she became an actress, and is elated to finally receive one. "I would like to thank everyone involved directly and indirectly for this award. I didn't expect this event to raise the name of Noreen Ashikin Abdul Rahim, an ordinary woman from an ordinary family," she said. In addition, Reen and her husband also received the 2025 Outstanding Business of the Year award at the event. The two founded the Reen Rahim Hygiene Wash. The actress said that every success comes from one's parents' blessings. "The foolish can become smart, the poor can be rich, the ordinary can become extraordinary.
