The internet has fallen head over heels for a dog determined to get a treat—without having to let go of the toy in her mouth.
A Pit Bull adoringly named Reese's PuppyCups and the "Pitti-ful Princess" by her owners has gone viral, as she tried to hold on to her favorite toy and eat a chicken nugget at the same time.
In a video shared to her dedicated TikTok account, @reesespuppycup1, on May 26, her owner holds out half a chicken nugget, and she tries desperately to eat it.
But there's one problem: she has a giant plushie in her mouth, in the shape of a cartoon bottle of hot sauce.
As she tries to get the nugget with the toy still in her mouth, her owner warns her, "You've got to pick one, you have to make a decision."
But the "princess" still persists, trying to take the nugget from his hand until it gets knocked to the floor—where she then tries to pick it up from the floor with her mouth, with the toy still in it.
Her owners burst out laughing, with a woman then trying to take the toy from the dog so she can eat, as the man exclaims: "I think we broke her."
In the end, the Pit Bull—mouth now free—gets to eat the nugget, and immediately her owner hands back the toy, which she described as the dog's "baby."
TikTok users loved the clip, awarding it more than 275,000 likes and 1 million views, as one commenter defended the dog: "God forbid a girl want a lil hot sauce with her nuggets."
"Not a single thought detected," another fondly mocked, while another pointed out: "They're known for being SWEET not smart."
And as one user summed it up: "There is nothing better than a dog with first world problems."
