NMISC announces water planning map tool
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission (NMISC) has launched the Regional Water Planning Mapping Tool. It will be an interactive resource that introduces users to key water data through a visual, user-friendly format.

The tool aims to inform water planning across the state using multiple data sets. NMISC says the tool is available on their website.
The tool is a combined effort between RS21 and NMISC and combines Census population data, New Mexico Water Data Act datasets, and Water Use by Categories reports from both 2015 and 2020, among other datasets.
