Coburn Elementary teachers host ‘Inflatable Race'
WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Teachers in West Springfield traded in their grade books for some good old-fashioned fun on Monday.

Coburn Elementary School teachers had a change in uniform on Monday, dressing up in inflatable costumes and racing each other on the field– and the students loved it. This is the first time Coburn Elementary has hosted an 'Inflatable Race.'
From T-Rexes to unicorns, each one of them put their best sprint to the test. Students were shocked to see their teachers in disguise.
'The kids do not know what the teachers are dressing up as, this is like a surprise for them,' said paraprofessional Reina Seda. 'They know about the race, not about who's running.'
This serves as the countdown to summer vacation for Coburn Elementary. 22News asked staff at the school what inspired them to put on this event, and they said it was just to spend time with the students before the end of the school year. And no doubt about it, it was a hit.
