Survey on Wolverhampton care home changes set to end
A consultation on changes to how a council provides residential and nursing care is due to end on Easter of Wolverhampton Council previously announced it was changing the way it commissioned placements in care homes for older local authority said it wanted to move away "from a model that simply purchases a service for someone in a home" and focus more on residents' specific have been asked to share their views in a survey and the council said it was keen to hear from those who might need a care home in the near future for themselves or relatives.
Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, of City of Wolverhampton Council, said the proposal marked a "step change" in the way the authority commissions care survey, called Residential and Nursing Care Survey, is available to complete online until it closes on Monday.
