MP Mohammad Raad says Hezbollah opens to cooperation after meeting with PM Nawaf Salam
The head of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, emphasized the party's commitment to ongoing cooperation and understanding with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and all components of the Lebanese political landscape during a meeting held at the Grand Serail. Raad said Hezbollah prioritizes national interest above all and remains open to dialogue regardless of political tensions or inflammatory rhetoric. "We do not build our positions on emotions or preconceived ideas. We judge based on performance and harbor no ill will—differences in opinion do not spoil the relationship," he stated following the meeting. He also criticized Israel for not honoring agreements and stressed that Lebanon has fulfilled its obligations. "Our priority is ending the occupation, securing the release of prisoners, halting assassinations and violations, and beginning reconstruction," Raad said. He added that the meeting with Salam also addressed certain reform-related matters that were not initially expected to be discussed. Raad concluded by reaffirming Hezbollah's stance on addressing challenges constructively: "Our country's interest stands above all else, and we think about that regardless of the incitement we hear."

MP Ali Fayyad: Lebanon facing external pressures to reshape its identity, Hezbollah ready to support reforms
MP Ali Fayyad of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc said Lebanon is facing more than just pressure over the group's weapons—he described it as an external attempt to reshape the country politically, culturally, and socially. He claimed that the United States and other foreign actors are interfering in nearly every aspect of Lebanese affairs, from political decisions and port security to the direction of financial and economic reforms and even efforts to push normalization with Israel. Fayyad argued that while the goals of the international community and some local actors—such as sovereignty, state-building, reform, and recovery—may sound appealing, the imposed path will not lead to any of those outcomes. He said Hezbollah is ready to support reforms, protect depositors' savings, and help rebuild public institutions, emphasizing that the group has no vested interests in the financial or banking sectors and nothing to lose from genuine reform.

Hezbollah Lawmaker: Lebanese Foreign Minister's Remarks Grant Israeli Enemy Certificate of Innocence to Continue Its Crimes
Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc and member of the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, considered that the statements of Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji, in which he accused Hezbollah of evading from the ceasefire agreement, constitute 'an open certificate of innocence' for the Israeli enemy to continue its crimes. In a statement published by Hezbollah's Media Relations, MP Al-Moussawi pointed out that 'this is not the first time that Rajji throws accusations and promotes slander against Hezbollah, while the enemy continues its aggression against Lebanon and the Lebanese. 'The enemy is escalating its crimes and daily violations of sovereignty and killing the Lebanese in a continuous and blatant violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the executive procedures paper emanating from it.' 'We had hoped that the Lebanese Foreign Minister would carry out the minimum of his national duties and responsibilities in face of the enemy's crimes, by denouncing them, presenting them to the international community, and demanding that it carry out its duty by imposing on the enemy the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. However, he went too far in his fabrications to accuse Hezbollah of evading the ceasefire in a very dangerous stance that turns against national principles and government policies and gives the enemy justification for its attacks and an open certificate of innocence to continue its crimes,' MP Al-Moussawi said. MP Al-Moussawi stressed that Hezbollah 'is committed to the same commitments made by the Lebanese government to the requirements of Resolution 1701 and the executive procedures paper, and that one of the most basic duties of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is to abide by the directives of the President of the Republic and the policies of the government, which must take the initiative to correct this minister's statements, as they distort the facts and harm the national interest.'

MP Hussein Hajj Hassan warns of Israeli occupation, calls for state action
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said Lebanon faces "many challenges and obligations" and must remain prepared to uphold former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's directives. Speaking on Saturday, he said at least five points remain occupied by Israel's army, noting Washington's role as head of the ceasefire monitoring committee. Addressing sovereignty advocates, he said Israel continues to occupy Lebanese land, kill civilians, and destroy homes while officials remain silent. He called on the state to fulfill its duty to liberate land and prevent Israeli attacks. Hajj Hassan also questioned whether the Arab world is prepared to counter the "Israeli-American project," warning that statements alone are not enough to stop regional fragmentation and displacement. He concluded by asserting that Hezbollah and its supporters remain a formidable force, pointing to the February 23 commemorations as proof that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement cannot be sidelined in Lebanon.
