The Carer's Support Grant can be spent however the recipient feels is best. Only one payment can be made for each person receiving care. Most read in Money For people receiving Carer's Allowance at both full rate and half-rate, the Carer's Benefit payment, or the Domiciliary Care Allowance, the amount is paid in full into your bank account. You may still be eligible for the June payment, if you meet certain criteria. To meet the standards, you must be over 16 and living full time in Ireland. You must be caring for someone on a full time basis and have been their carer for at least six months.
