Best deals for New Orleans Restaurant Week
New Orleans' annual Restaurant Week kicks off Monday with deals throughout the city.
Why it matters: It's meant to support restaurants through their slowest time of the year. More than a dozen spots have already closed.
The big picture: Restaurant Week runs through Sunday.
Nearly 100 restaurants are participating, including some in Jefferson Parish.
The meals have multiple courses for a set price.
Some have set menus, while others let you pick from two or three options for each course.
Best bites: Here are the meal deals that caught our attention...
$19 lunch at Birdy's behind The Bower. Includes a drink.
$25 weekend brunch at Commons Club.
$25 two-course lunch at Miss River, Boswell's Jamaican Grill, Commander's Palace, Ralph's on the Park, Desi Vega's, 34 and Antoine's.
$32 three-course dinner at Nobu, Suis Generis (vegan), Silk Road and Good Catch.
$45 three-course dinner at Cafe Degas.
The fine print: The prices don't include drinks, taxes or tips.
Zoom out: The Louisiana Restaurant Association organizes Restaurant Week New Orleans in partnership with New Orleans & Co., the city's tourism arm.
