India's active Covid-19 cases surge to 4,302, total deaths at 44
India reported a rise of 276 active Covid cases on Wednesday, pushing the total number to 4,302, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Seven deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours, with Maharashtra alone accounting for four. Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Gujarat reported one fatality each, increasing the tally to and Delhi reported the highest daily surge with 64 new cases each, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 63 and West Bengal with 60. The number of cases will continue to rise and fall over time, but there's no need for panic. What's important is to prevent its spread.
