Bristol to celebrate St Patrick's Day with Irish music festival
Bristol is set to celebrate St Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish music festival.
Organised by W.E. Irish (the West of England Irish community group), two events will mark the occasion, showcasing Irish music, dance, and cultural experiences.
The festivities will take the form of a Fleadh Cheoil on Sunday, March 16, from 12pm to 7pm.
A Fleadh Cheoil is essentially an Irish music festival and will include a free event at St Nicholas' Market and a ticketed event at the Revolution Bar.
Tickets are available via Head First Bristol's website.
The W.E. Irish community group, formerly the Bristol Irish Society, was established in 1989 and is dedicated to celebrating Irish culture in Bristol.
A spokesperson for the group said: "Rooted in tradition while embracing change, we aim to celebrate and share Irish heritage with people of all backgrounds."
