The Rezvani Knight Is an Apocalypse-Ready Lamborghini Urus
The Knight is Rezvani's latest offering, applying the company's assertive and militaristic styling to the Lamborghini Urus. The Knight will cost $149,000 on top of the quarter-million-dollar price of an Urus, and Rezvani says it can boost the twin-turbo V-8 to 800 horsepower. The Dark Night package outfits the SUV for the end of the world with bulletproof armor and glass, run-flat tires, and a set of gas masks. Have you ever thought to yourself, "My Lamborghini Urus looks too tame and won't survive the zombie apocalypse that is definitely happening any day now?" If so, look no further, as California-based Rezvani Motors has revealed its latest reskinned vehicle, turning Lamborghini's SUV into the Rezvani Knight, with militaristic styling and an optional bulletproof armor upgrade. The Knight follows previous radical Rezvani creations like the Jeep Wrangler–based Tank and the Cadillac Escalade–based Vengeance. Rezvani Motors Rezvani says the Knight, alongside its two other SUVs, is aiming to "reinvent the boring SUV space," and its latest design certainly isn't boring to look at. With hard edges and a grey paint job, the Knight feels like something you might find in the Halo video game. Rezvani says the body is fashioned from carbon fiber, and while the general shape of the Urus remains, the details are even more angular. Up front, the headlights are now accompanied by a pair of thin running lights and a light bar on the roof. The beefy front bumper is matched by an equally aggressive hood, while a towering wing lives above the rear windshield. The Knight rides on unique 22-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch off-road tires. Rezvani says it can boost the Lamborghini's twin-turbocharged V-8 up to 800 horsepower, depending on what the customer desires. That's a significant amount more than the 657 hp found in the nonhybrid Urus, although the latest Urus SE plug-in hybrid isn't far off with 789 ponies. Rezvani claims the Knight will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds, which matches the time we set in a 2023 Urus Performante. Rezvani Motors Rezvani's more paranoid customers will be relieved to learn that the Knight is offered with the Dark Night package. No, this upgrade doesn't turn you into a playboy billionaire who secretly fights crime under the cover of darkness. Instead, the Dark Night package brings bulletproof glass, body armor, a thermal night vision system, and run-flat tires. Other add-ons include a steel ram bumper, electrified door handles to zap anyone you don't want trying to get inside, magnetic deadbolts, a reinforced suspension, and an intercom system. Rezvani Motors Rezvani also throws in a set of bulletproof vests and helmets, as well as gas masks, a first-aid kit, and a pepper spray dispenser. The company also claims the package brings electromagnetic pulse protection, along with strobe lights, blinding lights, and sirens, although we question the legality of using those measures unless Armageddon has truly begun. Rezvani didn't say how adding all of this equipment will affect performance, but the extra weight should definitely add a couple of seconds to the zero-to-60-mph dash. Pricing for the Rezvani Knight starts at $149,000, not including the 2019-or-newer Lamborghini Urus that serves as a base. Customers can provide their own Urus or have Rezvani find one, and the company will also allow shoppers to create a bespoke leather interior. Rezvani says it will only build 100 examples of the Knight. The Rezvani Knight is an armoured Lamborghini Urus with electrified door handles
Modified Love your Lambo SUV but live in a dodgy neighbourhood? Rezvani can transform it for $149k Skip 7 photos in the image carousel and continue reading Looking like a law enforcement vehicle that has managed to escape from Grand Theft Auto VI , Rezvani Motors has unveiled its latest military-style modified SUV as it attempts to 'break away from the mundane'. Yep, it's certainly doing that. This is the Rezvani Knight, and as you might have spotted from the shape it's based on a Lamborghini Urus. Only, this is what the Urus would look like if it was designed for some futuristic, apocalyptic dystopia. Advertisement - Page continues below Rezvani said its new 'aggressive' carbon fibre body was penned to combine the looks of 'futuristic virtual vehicles, hypercars and military SUVs'. Whole lot going on here. Just check out that snout. We're told the exterior features angled armoured plates, while the rear end is supposed to be super sci-fi with its narrow taillights and pointed rear wing. Rezvani also fits 22in wheels and 33in off-road tyres, and we're assuming the colour options will include grey, grey, slightly darker grey and possibly black. You might like Oh, and because this is Rezvani, you can fully kit out your Knight for the actual apocalypse. Known here as the 'Dark Knight Package' (we're sure Warner Bros won't have any issue with that) it adds bulletproof glass and body armour, underside explosive protection, military-spec runflat tyres, a smoke screen system, reinforced suspension and a steel bumper for ramming things. That's not all either, because the please-don't-hurt-me-package also adds a thermal imaging system, EMP protection, electrified door handles, many siren options, strobe lights, gas masks, an intercom system, pepper spray dispenser and magnetic dead bolts. Crikey. Advertisement - Page continues below Oh, and if you're worried about the extra weight all that kit will add, Rezvani will also turn up the wick on the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 so that it produces 789bhp. It'll also add an 'optional valved exhaust system for a more sensory experience', although if you're needing all that extra safety kit, there's probably a fair assault on the senses happening outside already. Rezvani wants customers to bring their own Urus along to be transformed into the Knight, with prices starting at $149,000 for the base car. There's no word on pricing for the Dark Knight package, but adding similar kit to the Cadillac Escalade-based Rezvani Vengeance costs a not insignificant $85,000. Best be sure you really need it before ticking the box on the configurator, then. Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter.
