Narcotics sweep conducted at Southwick Regional School
SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – The Southwick Police Department conducted a narcotics sweep at Southwick Regional School on Tuesday.
Wilbraham police warn residents of unlicensed solicitors on Rochford Drive
Southwick Police Chief Rhett Bannish told 22News that the sweep was carried out by trained police dogs from the Hampden County Sherriff's Department and the Western Mass. Police Work Dog Association.
The sweep served as a proactive measure for the protection of Southwick students. Chief Bannish said that the police will continue to work with local law enforcement to ensure that the learning environment remains safe and secure.
