Everything the MAFS Australia cast has been up to since filming, from shock couple swaps to intense feuds
After 40 incredible, intense and down right wild episodes, Married at First Sight Australia season 12 has come to an end this evening, with the final reunion episode dropping here in the UK on E4. But even though the cameras may have stopped rolling, the drama sure hasn't. From some of the boys feuding on TikTok, to Carina's A-list connections and a number of couple swaps, there's been a lot of tea spilt post-MAFS Australia. So ready to deep dive on the drama? Here's all the biggest things that have happened to the MAFS Australia cast since the show wrapped. Rhi and Jeff are the only original couple from season 12 of Married at First Sight Australia to have stayed together after filming ended. From the looks of their Instagrams, they still seem incredibly loved up and revealed to 9entertainment they have now officially moved in together in Melbourne. Jeff said: "We moved into a new place that neither of us had lived in before, so it was starting fresh. I think we probably undervalue with how important that moment was, how big that moment was for our relationship." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rhi (@rhidisljenkovic) They've also been on holiday together and are planning to visit Serbia, which is where Rhi's family are from. So yeah this is the most wholesome update from the cast, as for the rest of them... Despite deciding to continue with their relationship after the experiment during final vows Jamie and Dave broke up before the reunion episodes. Since then there's been no reconciliation, but Jamie is now rumoured to be dating, wait for While the pair have said they are just friends right now, they've made a number of flirty comments about each other. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jamie (@jamiemarinos_) Most recently Jamie told 9Entertainment the pair have spent a lot of time together, but didn't want to define their relationship, saying: "I'm enjoying getting to know Eliot, I'm getting to know different people I'm just being open." She also added their connection wasn't a "publicity stunt" and that the pair "just genuinely enjoy being around each other." As for Dave, he's been hanging out with fellow MAFS groom Billy a lot. The pair have a joint Instagram account and went on holiday to Bali together. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Billy&Dave (@billyanddave_) Since their split there's been no chance of reconciliation with these two. Eliot has spent a lot of his time post-MAFS Australia working on his TikTok, and has now racked up over 250,000 followers. Not too bad for a guy who started the season off as the villain. As part of his TikTok fame, he, along with groom Adrian are now in a bit of a feud with Billy and Dave. The duos have been sharing various jabs at each other over social media, calling each other out over personal appearances and making shady comments. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eliot (@ Veronica meanwhile has just been posting fun content on Instagram. Oh, and she also set the record straight that she did not cheat on Eliot with Dave. During the series in couple swap week, Veronica moved in with Dave and the pair got pretty close in just a few days. There was then speculation that something romantic may have happened between them. However, Veronica shut these rumours down, telling Yahoo: "I find it so hilarious that this whole thing is circulating in this way. I've actually been abstinent for almost two years. "I think everyone is just looking for someone to blame, to be honest, and I'm an easy target given how everything's been unfolding for me recently." Ok so easily one of the biggest things that's happened with the MAFS Australia cast is since filming wrapped, Jacqui has continued her relationship with other groom Clint (who was originally married to Lauren), whom she coupled up with after her final vows to Ryan. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jacqui Burfoot (MAFS) (@jacquelineleejewellery) The couple are now engaged for real, after Clint popped the question during a watch party for the series finale. The couple live in Clint's home in Tasmania together, and Jacqui is popping off on TikTok spilling tea from the series and throwing shade at the other cast members. She's also launched her own jewellery brand too. As for Ryan, he's now said to be dating a new woman called Jennie. The pair have posted a lot of pictures together, and when Jennie was asked by So Dramatic! while the show was still airing in Australia if she was dating Ryan, she told the publication: "Now you know I can't give anyone the answer to that… Everyone will just have to wait and see." After many many ups and downs Adrian and Awhina finally called it quits on their marriage and broke up ahead of the reunion. Since filming ended Awhina got to move back home and spend plenty of time with her son, who she's been sharing adorable pictures of Instagram. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Billy (@billybelcher7) The other development in Awhina's life is that it appears she is now dating groom Billy, however the pair have not officially confirmed their relationship. They were papped holding hands and chilling out together in Perth a few months ago and most recently they shared a joint Instagram post where they attending an event together and looked pretty cosy. Since his time on the show Adrian appears to have gotten a hair cut, been reunited with his dog and hung out with a lot of the MAFS Australia boys. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrian (@ Following their split it appears there's been little to zero contact between Paul and Carina. Since the show ended Carina has been posting a bunch of stunning images on Instagram and hanging out with her besties from the show, mainly Rhi. Not only that but was also rumoured to be hanging out with Drake, after the rapper noticed Carina and her friends at a lunch, and reportedly paid for their meal, as per the Daily Mail Australia. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Carina (@carinamirabile) Carina was also spotted with Adrian Portelli, an Australian celebrity and billionaire over the weekend, however, she's since come out and revealed she is currently single. Paul appears to be keeping things more low-key and from the looks of his Instagram has mainly been hanging out with friends and family, and attended a close friend's wedding recently. Protests intensify in Nagaland as students demand fair recruitment process for assistant professors
KOHIMA: Student groups and job aspirants in Nagaland launched protests on Tuesday against the state government's decision to regularise 147 ad-hoc and contract assistant professors in colleges under the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE). The Naga Students' Federation (NSF), following the expiry of a seven-day deadline, began its first phase of agitation with a march from Naga Solidarity Park to the DHE office, where students staged a sit-in. On the other hand, the Combined Technical Aspirants Nagaland (CTAN) and Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) are initiating the second protest. This is the resumption of their second phase after a temporary suspension of four days. Both protesters are demanding the immediate revocation of the April 21 order of the state government that regularised these appointments and insisting that the posts be filled through open competition via the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) to ensure equal opportunity. NSF president Medovi Rhi criticized the government's move, calling it a violation of meritocracy. "Fairness is not negotiable, but the government has given injustice to the Naga students and aspirants thereby denying opportunity to the hard work of the youngsters," he said. "We seek no favour but demand what is rightfully ours," Rhi said. He asserted that until and unless justice is delivered NSF would not remain silent. Irked over the government not fulfilling its demand, the NSF supporters tried to lock the DHE complex, but police personnel deployed there stopped them. CTAN and NNQF leaders and volunteers are gathered outside the DHE. Besides the two common demands with NSF, CTAN and NNQF are also seeking dissolution of the High Powered Committee constituted by the government to investigate the details of the matter. "Even as the volunteers are angry over the failure of the government to fulfil our demands and also suggesting stringent measures including hunger-strike, we have resumed the second phase agitation in a peaceful mode," said Meshenlo Kath, convener of CTAN while interacting with reporters. The combined team of CTAN and NNQF had launched an agitation on April 21 but temporarily suspended it on April 25 following the verbal assurance of the Minister for Higher Education to revoke the regularization order and also dissolve the HPC. On Monday, the state cabinet decided to slash the time given to the HPC to submit its report from eight weeks to four weeks. For real-time updates, follow our AP SSC 10th Result 2025 Live Blog.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, the couple confirmed they are still going strong. 'We got married on the 25th of July last year, so July coming up,' Rhi revealed. 'It's crazy to think it would be our one-year anniversary since walking down the aisle.' Jeff chimed in, 'Yeah, we are feeling great. Can't believe it's all done and dusted. It's a little bit sad to be honest.' Reflecting on their reunion dinner party, the couple said they weren't nervous to return - rather, they found it entertaining to see the other cast members unload. 'We obviously heard about the Jacqui and Clint situation, so we weren't shocked about that at all,' Rhi said, before admitting with a laugh, 'I was going around spreading it.' The reunion episode also featured a milestone moment for the couple, with Jeff telling Rhi he loved her for the first time on camera. 'It was genuine,' Rhi said. 'That was the first time that we had said, 'I love you.' 'That's who I was throughout the experiment. Obviously, sometimes it doesn't get shown, but every time I saw something I didn't agree with, I did speak up,' he explained. The couple have been rumoured to appear on The Block, but say nothing is confirmed - yet. 'There's been all this chat about us going on The Block,' Rhi said. 'Everyone this morning has asked us, 'Is that really happening?' We're like… we have no idea. But we hope so.' For now, their focus is on enjoying life and planning their next step - possibly moving in together. Asked to reveal the quirkiest thing they've learned about one another, Jeff joked, 'Rhi's a bit of a nerd.' When asked about their intimacy, Rhi candidly said: 'Our sex life was actually great when we met a year and a half ago. That was never the issue. I think timing was the issue… but no, this time around, it's better.' 'We got married on the 25th of July last year, so July coming up,' Rhi revealed. 'It's crazy to think it would be our one-year anniversary since walking down the aisle' The couple say they're proud to be one of the experiment's only genuine success stories—and they had some advice for future participants. 'Be yourself from the get-go. Don't be afraid to be your most authentic, genuine self,' Rhi said. 'You can't pretend to be someone you're not,' Jeff added. 'That's the reason you would've gotten on the show in the first place.' When asked if he ever had to propose, Jeff replied: 'I probably wouldn't do it at a public event with heaps of randoms. 'I'd just do it with some close friends and family around… it'd be really authentic and a special moment.' Looks like MAFS may have actually found its fairytale ending after all.

MAFS' Rhi and Jeff tease major relationship announcement after Final Vows
They were consistently one of the strongest couples in the experiment, so it came as no surprise to viewers that Married At First Sight's Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels decided to continue their relationship at Final Vows. The pair, who called each other 'Rhi Rhi' and 'Jeffie' at the start of their speeches, both admitted they were falling in love and walked away from the show hand-in-hand. Thanks to some social media clues and photos from Jeff's recent birthday party, it's been confirmed that the fan favourite couple are still together. During an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, however, the pair say that viewers will have to wait until Sunday night's episode before they can officially reveal their current relationship status. 'We're just doing what we've been told!' Rhi laughs, while Jeff adds, 'We might get in trouble'. 'I would say you have to watch the reunion and you might find out,' Jeff teases. 'The house key got a bit of a workout after Final Vows, that's all I'm going to say,' Rhi remarks, referring to the key Jeff gave her to his apartment on Home Stays. While they can't say much about their relationship post-show, Rhi and Jeff admit it took them some time to adjust to life away from the cameras. 'You get filmed morning, midday, and nighttime pretty much every day for three months, and it was just nice to not have that around us and just live a normal life,' Jeff shares. 'I went back to work, I think Rhi did as well, and it was nice to just spend time with family and friends and enjoy each other's company. We sort of just hung out and had fun.' 'It was so refreshing,' Rhi says. 'It's funny, when I spoke to some of the cast, they were like, 'I miss it'. Whereas I'm like, I don't miss it all! Obviously, it is fun getting ready for the dinner parties and whatnot, but it is very exhausting. So it was just nice to be able to catch up on sleep.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Married At First Sight (@mafs) The couple also tease that the upcoming reunion dinner party was 'pretty intense' to film, especially because so many people who left the experiment early had things they wanted to get off their chest. 'I thought that we were all across everything, but we weren't. Because when I was at reunion, I was like, 'Oh, I didn't know that, I didn't know that. Thanks for keeping me updated, everyone!',' Rhi says. 'I saw it all unravel at the cocktail party and then the dinner party, so I did get a surprise when I was there.' 'That was the one time we didn't have seating arrangements, too,' Rhi explains. 'I was luckily placed right next to Ryan, which means I was in the thick of it and got brought into it!' 'Obviously, the voices get raised a little bit and a lot of drama follows,' Jeff shares.

MAFS' Rhi reveals what Jacqui was really like during filming
Married At First Sight's Rhi Disljenkovic has spoken out about her co-star Jacqui Burfoot's controversial 'edit' and revealed what she was really like during filming. Jacqui has emerged as one of the most divisive participants this season, with her emotional breakdown and instant recovery at Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias' wedding being hailed as both 'iconic' and 'chaotic' on social media. She's also been using a second Instagram account to call out the show and her on-screen portrayal, arguing that her 'character makes no sense'. Rhi, who clashed with the Kiwi bride this week after she tried to meet up with her partner Jeff Gobbels behind her back, has now come out and said that Jacqui's 'edit' is 'bang on correct'. 'It's funny, you do see people talking about 'bad edits', and so far I think what has been shown on TV is exactly what people are like,' she tells Yahoo Lifestyle. RELATED: MAFS' Rhi and Jeff's major relationship update edited out of the show MAFS' Adrian Araouzou defends creating his own fan account: 'Viral' 7 biggest bombshells from MAFS' Eliot Donovan's rogue tell-all interview Rhi adds that she could never take Jacqui seriously during filming because of how often she cried and describes her as 'the boy who cried wolf'. 'There was a lot of Jacqui crying and that's why it started to lose its effect,' she shares. 'I think that when someone can just turn it off and on like that, it does make you question how genuine they are. 'Like for me to cry, I know everybody's different, but I can't just wipe my tears and go, 'Okay I'm fine' and just walk on. It takes me a little bit to get over it because I am genuinely sad.' Rhi went on to say that while Jacqui's antics might be entertaining to watch as a viewer, they were 'exhausting' to deal with in real life. She also admits that even after filming the series with Jacqui and watching the show on TV, she still has no idea if she was acting or being genuine. 'It's a good question and I really am unsure. I don't know. She's a really tricky one to understand,' she remarks. 'I tried multiple times throughout filming to see where she was coming from, that's why I said I find Jacqui really hard to relate to. She can be a really nice person and we've had some good chats and there are times where I'm like, 'Oh we're getting on!'. But then the constant flip-flops and contradictions make it really hard. 'So maybe for the cameras she may have been a bit more performative or maybe exaggerated how she felt? I'm honestly not sure. I kind of feel bad saying that, but it's a tough one to understand.' This comes shortly after Jacqui posted on her Instagram Story about her motivation for going on the show and admitted to 'playing up' for the cameras during filming. 'I am fully in this for a life partner - taking it seriously, but having heaps of fun, laughter & playing up for the camera (a tiny bit)!' she wrote. 'I spend half the time desperately holding back my laughter and yeah I confess am often trolling the experts because it's all so boring,' she shared.
