North Salt Lake man killed in Nevada car crash
PERSHING COUNTY, Nev. () — A 38-year-old man from North Salt Lake died earlier this week in a Nevada car crash, the Nevada Highway Patrol confirmed on Thursday.
The crash happened on Monday, Jan. 27, around 5 a.m. on I-80. Troopers said a green Toyota Highlander was traveling west when it left the highway just eight miles east of Imlay, Nevada. The Toyota entered the center median, overcorrected across both westbound lanes, and rolled onto the outside shoulder of I-80.

Nevada Highway Patrol said the driver, identified as Ricardo Espinoza of North Salt Lake, was not wearing his seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
It is currently unclear what caused Espinoza to veer off the highway, but the crash is considered to be an open investigation.
